Calendar deleting after 6 months
Hi
How do i stop outlook from deleting appointments after they are 6 months old
i want to keep all my old appointments and is it possible to retrieve the
ones it has already deleted.

Well, not really, but I used Google Earth to zoom in on the Flatiron
Building. You can get so close you can see the utilities on the roof,
the hydrants on the street, the little parkish area across 5th Avenue,
etc etc. Cool! Now tell me where your office is (like where is Peter's

Public folder permission problem
I started working for a company that hosts a large public folder tree.
This company has many users accessing it and several users with
Publisher / Editor permissions. These permissions were not working

changing computer configuration
when I change users computers or configuration they insist on the
configuration for outlook's autocomplete usage when they type an email
address.
Is this a good feature to copy from machine to machine? I always avoid it
in order to start clean and avoid issues like spyware, cookies, etc.
will this feature work even if users go from POP to exchange configuration?

Auto-correct options question - Marti
I have Outlook 2003. When I use "text" format for an outgoing email
or reply, autocorrect is operational and "autocorrect options" is on
the Tools menu. When I switch to "HTML" format, no autocorrect
operations work and there is no "autocorrect options" on the tools
menu.
Guess the question is why, and is there a way to make the autocorrect
options work in HTML format! Thanks.

Lost all my e-mails/
All of my e-mails have disapeared. I have read that if I key in .DBX
they may be found and I did this and found about 300. I tried to open
one with Word but that didnt work. I then tried to import them back
into my OE but when I tried to use the Brows for folder facility the
search folder was not to be seen.

Calendar: print Daily style, 2 pages/day, no TaskPad, no Notes
Hello --
The Notes component of the Daily format still prints, even after I uncheck
the Notes area box.
The setting for Layout: 2 pages/day does not work.
I tried setting up a printer to print 2 pages / landscape page and that did
not work either.
Can anyone suggest what I can do to have 2 consecutive days print
side-by-side on an 8.5" x 11" landscape page?

Back ups
Is there a simple way to Back up Everything in Outlook all at once. I want
to use this for business and can not lose such things as Journal entries,
phone conversation notes or phone numbers. Would like to be able to back up
every day, but needs to be simple.

Problem while loading MPAI exported PST file
Hi all,
I am trying to load a PST file using Extended MAPI by configuring
"MSPST MS" service.The PST file get resets (the file size becomes 32
KB) while I configure the service. When I open the message store, it

Outlook 2003 saves all drafts in "Deleted Items" -- Can it change
I'm running Outlook 2003 (with all the updates current, having just days ago
started and moved in all my mail from Eudora) on WinXP. Saving a draft
message while I am editing it and then exiting the editor moves the message
to Deleted Items. Is there a way to ask Outlook 2003 to save draft messages

Outlook 2000 on WinNT
Hello All,
I have a stumper. I have a WinNT box running Outlook 2000 that connects to a
2003 exchange server.
When replying to or forwarding an email it leaves a shortcut in the task
bar. It only occurs when replying or forwarding email, not when sending a
fresh email. I am sure that it is just an option but I can't remember where
to turn it off. Any assistance greatly appreciated.

individual email accounts disappear from Send/Receive drop down list
I would appreciate if someone could help me put a stop to this erratic
behavior.
On bad days, when I want to send email through one of my 6 accounts in
Outlook 2003 the whole list is GONE from the Send/Receive drop-down

Dear,
Recently I found one more error as the following:
Unable to save free/busy information. Outlook could not start because a
location to send and receive mail could not be found. To add a location such
as personal file, double-click the Mail icon in Windows Control Panel.
Right, the Outlook only work as Calander and contact, no any email added.

How do I stop duplicated emails after upgrading to Outlook 2003?
I have upgraded from Outlook Express (which worked fine with my accounts) to
Outlook 2003. Now I receive all my emails in duplicate every time I re-open
Outlook 2003? Literally Outlook 2003 goes in seach of the 100's of emails
still sitting on the mail servers and puts them into the Inbox again. Any

Starting Outlook in the morning causes it to hang and then on restart I have to rebuild my PST file

I am usuing Outlook 2003 with all the latest patches etc. recently though I
have noticed that in the morning when I come into the Office, Outlook
appears to start OK, starts downloading messages and then hangs. When I

Bulk E-mail Notification
My ISP is going downhill fast in terms of capability and service and its
time to change it. My old ISP will forward mail for a month (for $$).
Meanwhile, is there a relatively simple way to send a bulk e-mail to my
