problems with pop3 and smtp
Hello,
I am currently using Outlook 2k3. Recently, my outlook stopped allowing
me to receive and send emails.
Here is what I know:
As far as I can tell, nothing was installed on my computer between the
day when my Outlook was last functioning properly and the next day,
when it failed to work.
Normally, I POP3 to XXX.com and SMTP to XXX.com (for privacy reasons, I
have replaced the ...

2007 Beta - Resize Attachments
I just noticed in 2007 that the right hand preview pane does not appear
and give you options to send photo's in a variety of sizes. In my
previous version, i was able to add a 4MB photo and resize the photo
within outlook. I do not see this option in 2007. Does anyone know how
to accomplish this wihtout having to open a photo editor for each photo
and then attach :(

Multiple Email Accounts in Outlook 2003
Folks,
My apologies for asking what appears to have been asked before, but I just
can't find out how to do it.
I have a Freeserve e-mail address, which is in the format
joe@bloggs.freeserve.co.uk. This allows me to have multiple e-mail
addresses, simply by changing the word before the '@' sign, i.e.
josephine@bloggs.freeserve.co.uk
I have my own e-mail address, let's say the joe@...

Font size for all folders
In order to set the folder font size for all col's in Outlook 2003, you need

there a tool that automates this process? What a time saver this would be...

Auto address email in outlook
Hi,
Can anyone please tell me if it is possible to set up Outlook so that,
whenever I post from a particular address, a copy of the mail is
always sent to another specific address either as a cc or a bcc - or
even as a full recipient - how it gets sent isn't impotant as long as
it gets sent.

Hi
I am logged on to a windows domain just fine. However, outlook allways asks

I have checked the security section in email setup for this connection in

Saved messages
I save copies of certain Outlook messages in special subfolders within "My
Documents" and I delete the original messages. The saved messages
(thankfully) still contain their original attachments. Where are the
attachments stored? The are certainly not stored in the same folders as
the saved messages.

Stop auto-receive of email?
Outlook 2003
I know this is simple but I can't find it in help. How do I disable
automatic receiving of email? I only want Outlook to check for mail when I
tell it to. It would be nice if it would send my email when I click the
send button though.
Thanks in advance... Bob

Follow-up to: microsoft.public.outlook
If I send an email requesting a return receipt, when the email is
clicked or opened, it will pop-up on recipient's work station asking if
he wants to send return receipt.
Let's say he says no. But obviously reads the email anyway.
When I get the return receipt back, it will say "email was deleted

Email Bounce Back from ISP
Hi All
I am using NTL cable broadband (UK)
I sometimes answer all my email first and the press send/receive to
send up to 40 emails in one go. This causes every one of them to be
rejected and bounced back to me.
So I have conducted a few experiments that might fool whatever
restriction there is on send more than one email at a time.
One of the things I have done is to add a random n...

Importing to Outlook from OE
Hello
When I imported all my emails (over seven thousand) from Outlook Express to
Outlook 2003 this morning, the dates appear to be all screwed up, in that
they ALL appear to have been received today.
Is there any way I can fix this, or even re-import them via some other
method? I really dislike OE, but by the same token I can't have 7,000
emails all saying they were received today....
