Replacing formulas with its value
I wanted to know if there was a macro that would replace all formulas in a
worksheet with their respective value only.

EXCEL 2000 SINGLE COLUMN OF NUMBERS BREAK INTO MANY COLUMNS
Is it possible to take a single column (12,000+ rows)of data and break it
into several columns to be able to print on 8.5x11 paper?
Example:

highlight the word when excel finds text you are searching for
When I use the "find" feature to search for a word on a large worksheet,
Excel 2000 brings me to the cell containing the word. Sometimes my cells
have a LOT of words in them. It would be very helpful, if Excel would also
highlight the word in the cell to make locating it easier. Does anyone know
how to do this?

emailing workbooks
i have an excel spreadsheet at work that i have to email to other employees
as it is updated. i recently had to have windows xp reloaded , until this
time i could click on the email icon on the excel toolbar and it would ask me
if i wanted to send the complete workbook , i would click ok or yes and the
outlook express box would open and i could send it . this worked and the

How can I find a part of a text string in a cell from an external file?
This is what I currently have but it wont let me use wildcards (e.g.

Formula Recalculation Error
I can't get a formula in excel to recalculate when copied and pasted to
another cell. Help!
I'm trying to get three of the same bits of data from 300 different
worksheets in an excel file. Each worksheet is named with a person's
first and last name.

Weighted Average in Pivot table
Hi all,
just ran into a problem after looking at the average of a pivot table and
finding the result not logical. Is it possible to do a weighted average
calculation in a pivot table? It currently takes the average of all the
averages and it obviously doesn't make any sense.

How can I combine 2 columns into 1, Excel?
I have an Excel spreadsheet with Last names in Column A and First names in

Conditional Formatting Malfunction?
We have Office 2003 with a spreadsheet with 3 columns. A is written text, b
and c currently are general formatting with numbers. When the A1:C20 area
(all cells) and select conditional formatting and say value is greater than
20000 turn red and add a format and say anything greater than 49000 turn
green, the cell value of 50000 (again which is value general) doesn't turn
any color, but...

Selective calculation
Hi all,
I have a spreadsheet with about 20 columns of data, 3 of which are
long-winded array formulas. I have some conditional formats and simple IF
functions in the other 17 columns. I would like to keep the sheet calc to
auto, but this makes entry slow because of the 3 columns of arrays. Is there
a way to exclude the array columns so I can keep the auto calc?

Zeros problem in LOOKUP?
I have a working LOOKUP function in a spreadsheet referencing another page,
but when I copy it, or even retype it in the other rows, it returns the #N/A
error. The only difference that I can see is that for some of the other rows,
there are 0 amounts- could that be messing it up? This is what the working

Paste into autofilter selection!
Hello!
I have a about 6000 rows and 15 columns of data. (imported from the web
weekly by a macro)
My problem is to update the last date, wich I sort out by using Autofilter.
This givs me about 100 rows needed to be updated with information from
another worksheet. Of course there's no logic from week to week in how many
rows each entry has.
It seems that you cannot paste 100 rows into...

Autofill Formula
Can anyone advise me how to autofill formulas which will take into account
the data is from different sheets please?
I have several sheets I am wanting to pull data from as a summary sheet, but
at the moment I am having to manually type in the formula for each sheet in
the summary. I have tried the drag auto fill but it only copies the existing
selection.

with weekly score sheet how do I column a weekly progressive aver.
I am doing a Darts score sheet in excel 2003. I have "game scores", "game
shots", "game average", "games played", "(sum)total scores", "(sum)total
shots", "(sum)total average", improvement increase\decrease percentage, and I
have even done a "bar chart". What I can't work out is how to formulate a
column for "progressing average".
