HYPERLINK - insert within a text sentence
how do I insert a hyperlink with a sentence?
"The new store list has been updated: hyperlink to list"
I need this all within one cell yet have the hyperlink work.
I copy and pasted my hyperlin to the end of my sentence and it UN-hyperlinked.

I have another question; "How does one sort two list to match the data?" I'm
doing a Index/Match on the initial named range, however, additional data has
been added and the named range has been extended out to the right. But, the
additional data does not synch porperly. I would need to match the data,

How do I track recurring entries in Excel?
I'm creating a database in excel for maintenance issues in our building. I'm
listing the date, Location, Issue, Person assigned to resolve the Issue,
Status and Date Issue Resolved. Some issues reoccur and I would like to be
able to track when I input entries like this. If we continually get a leak
in the 2nd floor Bathroom, I would like to be flagged. Can I do this with
Excel 2003?...

Sum of a number's digits
I need to insert check figures on my spreadsheet that equal the sum of a
number's digits. If cell A1 = 12,345.67, is there a formula that in cell A2
would add the digits 1+2+3+4+5+6+7 to equal 28?

I have done this before, but it has been several years and I cannot recall

Making cell reference absolute makes cell format text
Hi
Weird one here! I've been browsing the Excel forums for years and not seen
this.
One sheet is called Special One Off Deals, and in cell C2 is Aug 06 -
formatted as text.
In another sheet, any General cell, I type = and then navigate to C2 in
the other sheet and hit enter. The result is Aug 06 - formatted as text.

How do I get Analysis Tools in English
I am operating on two PCs one being an English version and the other a Danish

12 month Rolling Total
Can someone please help???
What formula do you use to keep a 12 month rolling total of data for example:

When adding the data from month to month it changes all data to the most

Help exiting function needed !!!
I have written down a function which checks for "expiration" and other
like statements from another sheet within the same workbook. It
calculates that fine if I calculate that cell be cell. However, if I
calculate for the whole workbook, the calculation bar stops at 0%. When

Hi all,
I have a spreadsheet with about 20 columns of data, 3 of which are
long-winded array formulas. I have some conditional formats and simple IF
functions in the other 17 columns. I would like to keep the sheet calc to
auto, but this makes entry slow because of the 3 columns of arrays. Is there
a way to exclude the array columns so I can keep the auto calc?

combining index with max - tried most posted solutions to no avail
Hi,
got 2 sheets depicting absence, one for each busines area.
Got a column for each day and a row for each employee divided in their
teams.
We have a column for each time they are absent using
=SUMPRODUCT((I2:HN2="S")*(I2:HN2<>J2:HO2)) and a column counting each
day they are absent using =COUNTIF(I2:HN2;"S") .. we mark absence with
a S in the cell
