Date incorrect in excel
For some reason that has just started....When I type a date into Excel the
year comes up wrong . For example when I type in March 1....and press
enter....it comes up March 1, 2017 instead of 2006.
I have tried reinstalling to no avail......any thoughts?...

Landscape and Portrait

page set up on excel to get 100% @ time of printing
When I go to page set up and my margins are set to 65% but when I go to print
preview I adjust my page breaks so it can print all my columns on one sheet
while keeping my writing fairly large at 100%, so when I go to print it goes
back to 65%, is there a way to keep my writing at 100% while printing...

autocalc to complicated to turn off
Please make it better in office 12 to turn off autocalc.
At the moment it is a pain in the bXXX
I managed to get it working for new Excel 2003 sessions but then I get no

i am having margin problems when converting EXL into PDF
hi,
i am converting exel files into pdf files, and having problems with the
margins.
it seems that it automatically puts a big margin on the left and right of
the sheet, even when i set the left and right margin to zero. is there a way
to change this?

Print Column Headings
I am trying to print my column headings (the contents of row 1) on each page,
but Excel is not having it. I have the pane frozen, so that row 1 is always
visible on the screen when I scroll. In the past, this has also given me the
column headings on printouts, but not this time. "Help" tells me to use the

Text File Import leaves a blank row after each line
I am using a spreadsheet in Excel 2003, where I am importing a fixed length
text file and is working perfectly.
However, the spread sheet when used on a colleagues computer, while
importing data from the same text file, leaves one blank row after each text
file record.
Is there any setting in Excel to prevent this?

Formula Help - Number to Time
OK I get a report from my firewall every month that shows how much time each
user spent doing things on the internet. The final number in the column for a
sample user is 94079
Can anyone help me with a formula that would turn that into HH:MM:SS if you
figure it out with a calculator it comes out to 26h 7m 59s but I would like
to get Excel to do that for me.

Combining spread sheet info
I have two spread sheets, let's call them A and B. A could be considered the
master work sheet. It has 15 columns A -O. The B worksheet has 13 columns,
all of them which come from A. I have deleted Columns L and N in A when the
data is transferred to worksheet B.

Automatic CSV Data Conversion
Hi,
We are using Excel 2003 on a Terminal server 2003.
On some user profil when i open a CSV file, excel will automaticly convert
it using ";" as separator.
On some other profil it will not.
How do i setup it so Excel may do that automaticly.

Solver does not work from Macros
We have a spreadsheet that is shared by three users. The spreadsheet has
worked for all three without any issues in the past. Not too long ago the
solver used in the macro for the spreadsheet stopped working for two of the
users but is fine for the third user.
The Solver options are the same for all three. They all have the same
versions of solver.xla.
The solver works if started...

thousand separator
I require to format my excel sheet using Indian system of formatting number
to use thousand separators which is like ##,##,##,##0.00 and not as
###,###,##0.00.
I have already changed the regional settings in Windows Contol Panel
suitably and checked the suitable option in Excel/Tools/Options to select
thousand separator as per system settings.

I get message "cannot find directory" with ExcelTools Menu
I canged some of my personal directory name and deleted others. Now when I
run Microsoft Excel xp and try to go into the options menu and click on any
one of the tabs, I get aqn error message that says: Can not access directory
and it show a directory name tat I have deleted previously.
If I re-create the directory and place no files in, the error message goes
away....
