After using "= A1" how do you merge info from the 2 spreadsheets?
I am trying to take information already on one spreadsheet and incorporate
some of it into a second spreadsheet used for a different purpose. I have
done the
"in cell A1 of spreadsheet2 type =
then go to spreadsheet1 cell A1 and press return"
that put codes in the colums for me but now how do I get the information to
transfer/merge into the 2nd spreadsheet?
I am new at all ...

Excel Add-ins setup
Hello
I have installed an Excel Add-in, and it works fine, but every time I close
Excel it dissapears and I have to install it every single time I open Excel.
does some one know what could be wrong?

How to set the default color for fill in functon?
Does anyone know how to set the default color for fill in function?
Everytime, Excel starts up, the default color for fill in function is
yellow, which is used to fill in the background for the specific cell. I
usually fill in grey color, if I can change the default color, it will help
me a lot.
Does anyone have any suggestion?

Macros Shortcut keys
Users is on XP SP2 using office 2000 which was recently installed on her pc.
She previously used 2003 through terminal services and the macro shortcuts
ran fine. Now that she is using the 2000 on her local machine the shortcuts
no longer work. The macros run fine going in through the menu and hitting
run. If you go in and look at the macro you can see where the shortcut keys

Turn off automatic toolbar
I have one excel file that every time I open it, the reviewing toolbar
automatically opens. Every day I turn off the toolbar, go about my work, and
save the document. The next day, I open the file, and the reviewing toolbar
pops up. How can I turn this feature off? It's easy enough to turn it off
myself, but if I can stop it all together, I'd be much happier!...

Using the chart wizard
I was wondering if there was a way in which I can get a chart to display the
actual values on the xaxis, rather than the default numbers. I have
highlighted what I want to appear in a chart, but when I preview it it just
displays the default numbers, not the values that I highlighted....

create option to view worksheet tabs vertically
It would be great if Excel had the option of viewing tabs vertically. I have
a workbook with about 20 sheets and horizontal scrolling is cumbersome to
switch between worsheets.

Text Import Wizard
I am using the AS/400 function CPYTOIMPF file to download a tab
delimited file to a IFS folder. I want to open the document by double
clicking. One of the fields in the file I am downloading is a part
description. The field can contain several double quotes and if there
are an odd number it will cause problems. I can use the import wizard
and change the text qualifier to {none} on Step 2 of 3 ...

Up & Down Arrows
In Excel 2003 when I press the up/down arrows on the Keyboard the whole page
is scrolling up and down instead of going through the cells moving. Any
ideas to stop it doing this and working how it should.

Locking column width - upon refresh of PivotTable
Hello:
I have a PivotTable, which I use for a report. It contains a lot of data and
I'm trying to make it a bit bigger.
Each time I refresh, the column headings force the columns to widen-up
(where I previously wrapped the text to crunch the width of the column).
I'd hate to keep readjusting. Is there a way to set the width of the column
and row to a specific setting - permanently??...

Lookup cannot be installed...
Hi!
I have Excel 2003 (Norwegian) and I'm trying to install the Add-in Lookup.
It tries to install, but during the process I get a error message:
Microsoft Excel can not run this add-in.
Function not availbale.
[ok]
I've tried this with the installation CD in my CD player, but that doesn't
help.
Any suggestions?

bringing G1 value from 50 sheets to another sheet. Indirect comman
I have 50 sheets called run1 ... run50
In G1 of each sheat I have a number (number of rows G4:Gn, in that sheet)
I want to bring the valuse of G1 from all 50 sheets to another sheet
(summary Shheet).
Is it possible to do it by "indirect" command to copy the (run3!G$1$)
reference cell? I couldn't succeed.

look for a pipeID in a column and returns "broken" result
I have a column of pipeID (1400 IDs).
I have a column of Target pipes. (78pipe IDs)
I want a command to look Target pipes in pipeID and writes broken in front
of it if it finds in pipeID column and leave empty if it couldn't find. I
think I have to combine Hlookup and if command but I couldn't recognize how.
Will be happy if there is any help.
