Attendance database setup
I am creating an attendance database for my company.
There are 19 different departments in the company and each manager tallies
his/her own employee attendances.
I had a spreadsheet set up, but it wasn't on a rolling calendar basis. Then,
I was going to have the managers delete old months, but that would most
likely mess with the formulas.

How to copy print set up to other excel worksheets?
I want to copy the print set up including page breaks on to multiple
worksheets but when grouped this function is greyed out. Pasting just the
format does not copy the print set ups across to another work sheet. I do
not want this print set up on all my worksheets, just a few.
Anyone know how to copy print set ups to other sheets?...

Excel Hang - kernell32.dll accountable

my computer fails to reconize that it has excel viewer, when I try to install
it into my PC it asks for the 25 case numbers. I lost the case numbers is

Resizing a field in "forms"
I'm using XL as a database and find that adding or viewing information is
very helpful. The only draw back is that I have a field named "comments" that

like to resize so that I can see all of the information in it. Is there a
way to expand this field?

Excel OLE error
Hi everyone,
we are running all apps on Windows Server 2003 Terminal Server. All users

Column Labels Automatically at the top of each page?
I would like to have the column labels appear at the top of each page
automatically. I am working with a spreadsheet in which I am either adding
rows, or wrapping text in a cell so that particular row gets wider, which
changes where the page breaks are. As a result, every time I work with the
spreadsheet, I have to manually move the column labels from their current

How do I set up tracking chart
I am trying to set up chart to record author, book name, date, CD/read, and
brief comments. I would like to be able to quickly determine if I have
already read a book in question and/or review comments of previously read

lose selected range when I right click
I have somehow lost the ability to use the right click shortcut menu on a
range of cells. Anytime I right click the selected range reverts to the one

Unable to follow Hyperlink via keyboard Enter button
I used to be able to follow the hyperlinks by a mouse-clicking the cell and
also by using keyboard Enter button after to have selected the cell
containing the link. But after upgrading from Excel 2000 to Excel 2003, I can

Excel 2002 SP3 - Exit button is not available - grayed out.
We have uninstalled and reinstalled MS Office Suite. We have run Detect and
Repair. When you first open Excel the X button is visible, but is not
enabled. After working in Excel for a few minutes, the X button will gray
out. You have to select File and Exit to close the application....

How do I put the clipboard on top as in Office2000?
I just "upgraded" to office 2003 and the clipboard takes up way too much

data from Paradox to Excel
Can Excel (Office 2003) load Paradox 4x data in an XPpro environment? Data
queries set up using Excel (Office 97) in Win98 and Win95 have always worked
fine but those same queries don't run on an XPpro machine. Nor can queries
be created using the same settings even though Excel 2003 provides Paradox 4X
ODBC drivers.
Does this mean that XPpro cannot handle DOS based Paradox data? Any he...

Retrieving SQL data into Excel - Part II
Hi,
I have rather complex SQL Server query using CASE function, table joins,
etc. that I was able to execute in MS Query (MSQRY32.exe). However, when I
try to export or open the saved query file (.dqy) into MS Excel, it reports

Print multiple excel sheets in color
Hi, I've got a problem.
In Excel I have 3 sheets. On all these sheets I have some colored cells and
text.
Now I want to print these sheets. On my printer preferences I select "Print
in color"

Excel should high-light Rows & Columns when cell selected.
Excel should have a feature to high-light the row and column when a cell is
selected for data entry users and when manually searching spreadsheet.

How do I restore the default settings in Excel 2003?
I have used VBA to alter the user interface in Excel 2003. In the process
Excel crashed and has left remnants of the VBA generated interface. I wish
to get back to Excel default settings without having to reinstall Excel. I
have tried all the normal methods outlined in Excel 2003 help to no avail.

suggestions on creating a text value based on a date range
I have a situation where I need to compare week1 from one year to week1 from
another year. The problem is that I have the dates, amounts, and categories
in a raw dump from an external application in a text file and am able to

Retrieving SQL data into Excel
Hi,
While I can retrieve data from a SQL Server into Excel successfully, I'd
like to filter the data by specifying a criteria where the date column from
the SQL Server database is greater than or equal to the current date.
I have tried using the TODAY() Excel function but to no avail. Has anyone
