Highlight Duplicate on entry
Hi,
I need something that would highlight the cell entry if there is a duplicate
entry located on the sheet.For instance, i enter account N15650 in the
account column and if this entry has previosly been made in the same column
then i want this new entry to be highlighted as a flag for me.Does this
require a macro or vb for this action?

Slanting cells across top of Word table or Excel spreadsheet?
I want to make a single-page form that has long descriptions down the left,
and names of people across the top -- but the names need to be slanted upward
because there are too many, and the matrix boxes will have only a + or - in
them so they can be quite small. An example would be the mileage charts on a

Some users have more worksheets than others in same doucment
Hello,
We have users who access an Excel spreadsheet on a network drive. They
all access the file throughtout the day. A few users have added worksheets to
the spreadsheet and can see them when they re-enter the document later on.
Other users, however cannot see these added worksheets (Sheets 19-24, for
example). I checked their permissions and they all can modify the document.

How do I enlarge the spreadsheet that has no sizing handles?
I opened a read-only copy of an Excel spreadsheet. It opened at a quarter
size of the screen. The only help available says to enlarge by using the
sizing handles. When I go to the sides or corner, the sizing handles DO NOT
show up. Please help. TIA....

Excel Auto Fill Handles
I have a formula in C2 which calculates data from A2 and B2. I can
double-click the lower right "handle" in C2 and if I have data in columns A
and B, rows 3 through ??, that will copy my formula down and fill values

I LOVE EXCEL!
I just love this program. It is so organized and almost anything is
possible, you just have to know how to use it. I wish there would be a

Change the default Currency style
It is both frustrating an nonsenical that the default Currency style (ie the
one applied when you click the Currency button on the Formatting toolbar) is
actually based on an Accounting format.
Why isn't it based on a Currency format?
.... and why can't it be changed without creating a template? (ie so it
applies to all Workbooks rather than just newly created ones)

filter on a protected sheet
I have a sheet on which I need to protect some cells. I have it
filtered. Whenever I protect the sheet, I cannot click on the little
arrow to filter, even on cells that are not protected. What am I doing
wrong?

Font Size in Drop Down List
I have a drop down list where I want to change the Font Size. I have tried
changed it in the cells where the data resides and also in the cells where
you have the drop down list and neither way increase the Font Size. I am
sure it is something very simple that I am forgetting. Hope someone has the

Outlined Data in Excel
Can you collapse Text Data in Excel like you can in Word? For example I have
three columns (A, B, C) I want to be able to hide the data in column B and C
for example and just see A condensed onto one page. I know you can use the
collapse and hide function when you have subtotals, but I am using text....

Disable automatic GETPIVOT
Whenever I reference to a field in a pivot table I get the
"GETPIVOTDATA....." worksheet function. This would normally be OK but
this is an Absolute reference and I can't figure out how to get it to
make it a relative reference.
The only way I can do it is by taking out the formula and manually
entering the cell reference - ie "A1". Is there any way the GETPIVOT

Color Palette changes when I open excel file
I have an Exel file that, whenever I open it, it changes my color palette,
and applies that color palette to all the Exel files I may already have open.
The palette applies itself to all Excel files I open after I open this file.
Even if I open this Exel file first, close it, and then open other Excel
files, this "wrong" color palette applies itself to the other files. I have

Template for state of Alabama Certificate of Immunization
We fill out many, many certificates of immunization for the children we
vaccinate at our office. It would be nice to have a template where we type in
