is it possible to print in poster form?
on our cpy machine you can choose to recreate your copy in poster form, it
takes the original and makes nine seperate blown up images that wehn put
together it froms a poster size copy. can this be done with microsoft
printing?...

How link cells between worksheets in the same workbook?
Here is a more detailed description of my problem:
I am tryinhg to figure out a way to print invoices from an excell
spreadsheet.
The invoices are pre-formated with fields and logos and are on continuous
paper

A friend picked up a ton of contiuous paper, 3 part,

Excel Printing Problem
Problem: When I try to print anything in Excel the first page out of the
printer is blank , the 2nd page starts printing halfway down the page, and
the last half of the spreadsheet never does print.
Do not have this problem printing word documents.
Ran test on HP Officejet 6210xi All-in-One printer and it tests okay.

Worksheet Font Size .....Advice Please
I have created a Form in Excel 2002 instead of Using Word.
The Form is configured to print over two pages.
The text font sizes Iam using are 12 and 16.
Questions
Why does the printout appear to be using a much smaller font size.
12 looks like 8 and 16 looks like 10.....please advise.

Creating a MultiPage PDF from an Excel Workbook
I keep gettng message that Acrobat cannot create PDF because different
worksheets have different Print Quality settings--
I have even tried this with a new workbook with only one word on each
worksheet as a test. Also changed my printer from the default.
Have gone to page set up and checked all setting to be the same for each page.
Any thoughts.

Printing behavoir changed PCL-PS printers

in KB Q305713 it sounds that excel recognizes the print-technology of the
printer driver and decides wheter it has to scale or the printer can scale.
But my users have documents created with an PCL-based printer and now on the
PS-driven printers the output differs in page breaks und cutted diagrams.

Print in color
Text that is in color, e.g. red or blue, prints as black. Also cells that
have a background fill in color, e.g. yellow or pale blue, print as no color.
Printer prints colored text in Word and OE emails.

User unable to set printing reference to landscape
Strange enough, under the specific user profile, user unable to set her
printing preference to landscape for printing. Tried to log on other user
profile, they are able to do so.

Automatically Insert Page Breaks when a Column Value Changes
does anyone know how to setup a worksheet such that when a value in a column
changes, it can automatically insert a page break rather than going thru
hundreds of rows and manually inserting these breaks? There has to be a

Selecting a Row to Print on Every Page
I know it's possible to select a row to print on each page of a spreadsheet,
such as a heading row, what I'm wondering is, is it possible to select
different rows to print at the top of different pages? Like, say I want row
1 to print on pages 1-3, and row 160 to print on pages 4-5, and row 250 to
print on pages 6-7....

Non-printing Cell
Random cells won't print out. All other cells around these non-printing cells
prints fine. Contents of non-printing cells show fine on screen in Normal
view and Print Preview and all cell formatting is the same as for all other
cells. Nothing fancy is being done with worksheet. It's just a list of
building materials I need to purchase for a job. I'm using an HP LaserJet
2200dn.

I added a row.
When I Print Preview or try to Print, the row does not preview or print.
Why isn't this row printing?

Printing worksheet not the same across the board
I have 3 users that had problems with the way excel files were printing once
the page had been set up. I have fixed the problem between 2 users and
thought that took care of all. Now the 3rd user is still having problems.
User A would set up the spreadsheet which meant creating specific margins
and such. User B would then print said spreadsheet but margins would be

Excel will not print shared document to default printer
It appears that another poster may have discovered the solution to this
problem, but he neglected to share it with the rest of the class. ;)
My company uses a lot of shared documents, accessed through our network. I
can print shared documents normally from any Office 2003 program except Excel

HELP: print macro woes :S
I find that the 'print' macro immediately calls the default printer in EXCEL
but it opens the Printer selection dialog window in WORD. How can one stop
the PRINT button from selecting the default printer? Surely, it can open
the Printer selection window?

worksheet....but if i insert the chart in the same sheet, the printer prints
