multiple worksheet formula help
I have a 7 page workbook. Page 1 is the "master" sheet containing formulated
data from the other 6 sheets in the workbook. Each of the 6 other sheets are
set-up with the exact same rows and columns - they are simply assigned to a
different sales representative. I have the representatives "complete" a ROW
on their sheet and "copy/paste" that row to the "master" sheet which then

Need formula to calculate time difference
I am certain there is a really simple way of doing this and I am just too
stupid to figure it out...
I just want to have Row 1 Column B show a start time I manually enter (say
9:15PM), then be able to enter 10 (ten minutes) in row 2 column A to show a
value of 9:25PM in row 2 column B.
Row 2 Column B has time value (9:20PM)
Row 2 Column A has minutes allowed (20)

Why Not Conditional Formatting For Multiple Sheets?
This Is something I was looking forward to in 2007, Unfortunately
Conditional Formating Is Still Bound To One Sheet... as well as not
being able to lock/unlock multiple sheets unless you're running a
macro...:confused: Still Have to Copy and Paste in Most Instances to
get things done on multiple sheets..

Keyboard Shortcuts - Protect Worksheet
Is there a keyboard shortcut for "protect worksheet" function. I have a
workbook with 45+ sheets which needs to be individually protected, as global
protection is not possible. It become a bit laborious to move up and down
with your cursor, between the protect worksheet icon in the toolbar, and
selecting successive sheets down the bottom. I am hoping there is a faster
way to go about it....

Request To Shorten A Formula
Hello, don't want to be pest on my Duplicate Questions, but I was hoping
someone could give me a shorter formula for the one I have here.
I have 31 sheets representing 31 days (DAY1 - DAY31), of the calender

With Due Respect, 2007 .....
With due respect, 2007 did include many improvements.. Faster
editing/formating, extended conditional formating, better wizards,
etc..
Be aware that some of the formating may not be compatible with 2003
versions... I actually lost much formating from 2007 during save. So
if you share worksheets/books, make sure they are compatible before
saving if someone will be using older versions... Ju...

works document trying to read in excel
Ok here it goes. I have recently purchased a new computer and had all the
old computer memory transferred to the new PC. The old worked off of Windows
98SE and the new is in XP with Office. How can I view an old document that
was done in Works (spreadsheet) on the new system? I tried to open it but
got lost in the process of attemping to transfer from old to new via the
popup screens...

query information
I'm querying information that is updated every 10 minutes. I would like to
keep a log of the state that the device that I'm querrying was in at that
time. Right now it just copy's the data over the existing. What I would like
to do is save the Data every 10 minutes on another sheet.

emailing excel worksheet with data protected?
I created a sales order excel spreadsheet with 997 lines, then I autofilter
down the info I want the other depts to see. (One gets to see the prices, the
other dept doesn't) If I just E-mail the worksheet that protects the data,

i need help
im trying to set up a list of ratios. if i have a list of numbers in
b1:b20, and i know that b1 corosponds to the nuber in c1, is there a
way to solve for the numbers that should be in c2:c20. i cant just drag
it down, becuase it just copies the same number. i want to basically set

Trying to do a calculation to count the number of people who are aged between
30 and 40 have their dates of birth in a table trying to get the formula to
work because it has to be greater than one date AND smaller than another????

Excel into webpage
Is there a way to insert an excel file into a webpage which will allow
visitors to enter data, view results, but not download the source
program. The information I am posting is somewhat sensitive and will be
password protected access. My concern is visitors downloading the file
and forwarding to people I would rather not have it.

If I closed an excel doc without saving can I get it back? thx
I opened up 2 version of excel and tried to close one, I forgot the other was
opened and when I chose not to save it I lost my old one also.
If there anyway I can get it back?
I tried system restore but that was turned off also ;(
