Validation for multiple sheets?
Is there a way to use validation over multiple sheets? When I select
several sheets in a workbook validation isn't offered under Data. I was
hoping it would work like formatting over multiple sheets.

is this possible?
I already do this using a macro but thought it might be possible with
just a cell function.
Column B has either 1,2,3, or 4 in it. These are service codes. Column C
has hours in it. I want total hours per service in another place on the
sheet. So... it's find a all the 1's say, multiply each by the hours in
the same row in C and add that prduct to another cell. Do that until

2 questions - one about inserting the date, other about adding lines.
hey,
im making a timeline plan for school, and when i enter the date such as
3/2/06 it autocorrects it and changes it to 03/02/2006 which i dont have
enough room for. is there a way so it doesnt automatically change it?
and the other is ive already typed up my table, disregarding the fact

how do i open zipped files
Hello,
I am having a problem trying to open a file in excel. This file is ending

How do I make editable PDF forms using Excel?
First off let me say I apologize for not keeping my Microsoft Office skills

Sorting Possible avoiding cell Formulas?
Just wanted to know if it is Possible to sort omitting any formula
activity?
I know, sounds crazy and doesn't make much since, but when I attempt to
sort, the data resorts back to the original position based on some
formulas I am using.
So I guess the main question would be, Is it possible to freeze formula
activity to allow general sorting? If Not, I can surely understand Why

killing empty spaces in unusall fashion ..
I am trying to create a sheet that will read 2 columns of another sheet
that has empty spaces between the data (Rows) and I want to re-create

How do I get a data analysis add-in for excel?
I am new to excel and need to install the "data analysis" add-ins found under
"Tools" for an assignment for a statistics class. I do not have the original

copying multiple cells
When I try to copy multiple cells that are not in sequence I highlight the
first cell then I use the Ctrl key to highlight the second and after I have
highlighted several cells it wants to jump off the first cell and only
highlight the last cell. Can someone tell me why?

Hyperlinks Not Instant In 2007 ??
HI, I am using the new 2007 Beta 2 from Microsoft Excel, the problem I
am having is that the Hyperlinks I used under 2003 were instant when
you clicked on them, Using the same files in 2007 I have to hold down
the Mouse button for a few seconds in order to activate the link
(Hyperlink).
Is there some type of setting to make the links instant like in 2003?

Summary function
When I summarize by every change in column A and sum the other columns it
works. But I to have the data in Column B as well. It just populates a '0'

Summary Sheet For Identified Dupes

Please See If This Is a Bug for 2007 Beta 2...
Ok, besides the other complaints I have come across with 2007 beta2, I
just noticed that if you try to copy a sheet from the tab area, The
Program Crashes! (Send Error Report to Microsoft Pops Up), I tried it
on two different computers and even used a blank template without
formulas, it still crashed.

Another multiple criteria/column question
Ok, first post and pretty much a new user to Excel. I have two sheets

Greater Than / Less Than Problem
Don't want to sound silly here, but I am actually having a problem with
a formula that will allow me to count only values greater than 0 but

Conditional Format - Date
