How to copy page setup
I need to open a new worksheet for a new year. (The year starts July
1st)
I have copied the previous year worksheet to a blank worksheet in
order to keep the formatting and formulae.
How do I copy the page setup for printing?

template small business book keeping
Hi all. I am a new sole trader and I am looking for some template or
something to assist me in keeping my books/accounts. I know very little about
accounting so something basic is what I need with some form of tutorial.

Checking Client Status Prior to Save
I am new to VB and need to write an Excel macro that will check the other
systems on a LAN in order to make sure they are alive and capable of
accepting a saveas file.
I written a macro to perform the saveas but it comes up with an error if one
of the machines is down and will not complete the macro.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

how can I format sheet 1 if the value is found in sheet 2?
I'm all employee data in sheet 1, in sheet 2 I'm using vlookup function to
retrieve employees for whom I issued certificates on a each day. My question
is, how I can mark those employees in sheet 1 for whom Ive already issued
certificates from those for whom I didn't. I tried conditional format
function, but it didn't work, as it is in the separate sheet.

I am working with a large data set. (It is currently a form in Microsoft
Word) I need to import data into Excel (2003) but am getting an error
message which does not allow me to import all of the data since I have
exceeded the range of columns available in my spreadsheet. I thought that i

Need help identifying a feature - driving me crazy
I created a series of worksheets that included a popup help window. Now I
wish to change the help messages on a number of cells. However, I just can't
seem to find the tool again. It is not the "Comment" tool. That is the one

Stable formula
Let say I have this formula,
=SUMIF('TSJ Student List'!C3:C118,"=4",'TSJ Student List'!A3:A118)
My question is how can I use only rows C3:C118 and A3:A118 and the only
changes is "=4" to 5,6 ....because when I copy or drag it will change to
C4:C119, A4:A119 ..... I try to use $C3:C118$ or $c3$:$c118$ but it does not

Question about a formula (Excel XP)
I'm "dissecting" a budget to better understand and (hopefully) put it to use
for our oreganization. I ran across this formula is a cell:

For some reason I keep getting a "TOO FEW ARGUMENTS" error with this
formula:
=COUNTIF(OR('DAY1'!E6:E35<>"",LEFT('DAY1'!G6:G35,2)<>"GI"))
I am simply trying to use a count if 2 conditions are met... 1. if
Fields E6:E35 is not empty and 2. Fields G6:G35 Left 2 Characters <>

Copy & paste conditional format
I have several workbooks with monthly sheets in each. I need to format one
cell to print differently than the previous cell if this cell is greater than
the previous cell. I thought I could do a conditional format and then use
fill handle to format the other cells as you would a formula and the
