Adding durations
Hi
I'm using excel '97.
I have a spread sheet with durations on it (vodafone) and want to add them.
Is there any way to do this?
When I highlight and hit sigma it tries to enter nothing in the top
selection instead of the total at the bottom.

cell comments in a vlookup table
i have information in a vlookup table that i only want to veiw when
required.It cannot be done with cell coments as these do not come over within
a lookup table.I thought of another column within the lookup table,but these
are always visible, and i am running this program on a P.D.A and space is at
a premium....

How to work with Hyperlinks
I have several columns with several dozens of hyperlinked entries in each
column. I'd like to unlink them all. I highlighted all entries in a column
and removed underlines, changed their color to black, but they still were
linked. Sure, I can unlink each one, but it will take several hours to

2 questions:
1. I have a series of about 200 numbers that I would like to create a
frequency chart/graph for. I am having difficulty in OL2000 creating a

Linking daily sheets?
;) I'm keeping track of daily sales at a small store. I would like to
open one spreadsheet, enter all the sales for the day, and have a
running 'year to date' sales total at the end, so it needs to take the
YTD total from yesterdays sheet and add it to todays total. I save

How to substruct in a range of cells?
I have a table with 3 columns and several hundred rows. In column A entered

I have set up a time sheet for employees to fill out on the computer. I need
one column (STRAIGHT TIME) to total up to 8 hours ONLY, and anything beyond

Excel Woes
Hi folks,
I'd appreciate some help with my excel settings. Seems something happened
??hmmm, and now I cannot just double or single click on an excel icon and
have itopen the workbook. It opens excel but it is blank with no workbook. I
have to manually move to a folder and open from within excell to have a

i have set up a macro to copy the data in the pivot table and to paste it
sumwhere else and to sort it
all is good, but when i save the spreadsheet and close it down and reopen it
and run the macro the pivot table shrinks down to 2 rows and 2 colums
how do i get my data back on show
