New window in Excel does not display default settings
have default settings for new workbooks and worksheets including,
zoom=86/Arial 8/, 0.00/ etc. I set these up using the .xlt file for templates
and they work correctly. However, when I create a new window under the
"Window" menu item, it opens the new window with different (Excel Default?)
settings. Can this new window be made to open with my user-defined settings?...

How do you create a calendar?
Hello, I would like to create a file with several different pages with tabs
at the bottom. Within these pages I will have columns with dates. I would
like to convert those dates onto a calendar. These are lists of our clients
that we will be contacting and when we set an appointment, I would like it to
automatically populate onto a calendar sheet. Is this possible?...

Checking for exsitence of values in a different worksheet
I have two work sheets defined, Sheet1 column A contains a list of part
numbers.
Sheet 2 column A contains a list of part numbers.
I would like to create a formula in Sheet1 column B that displays "True" if
the part number exists in Sheet 2 column a.
I tried Vlookup, but seem to be having issues.

Impossible Task?
Basically, I would like to convert some numbers.
I would always like to convert:-
1 to 6
2 to 5
3 to 4
4 to 3
else = 0.5
If I had the following numbers displayed in cells A1:A10

How could I get them displayed as:-

How to replace '0 with a 0?
I pull information in from an Essbase database. It puts missing information
in the cell as a text '0. I want to be able to replace '0 with a 0. Or how
would I set up my formula's to recognize the apostrophe?
=IF(C275=0,0,(+B275-C275)/C275)
So it doesn't come out like this? #DIV/0!

Copying Cells
I have a summary sheet I have created where I wnat to capture data from a

"file" missing from menu/tool bar
I must have done something, as suddenly the "file" option is gone from my
menu bar.
I have it set to view "standard", and my menu bar starts w/ "edit", and then
proceeds normally. So I'm missing both the "file" option, and the excel icon
that are normally to the left of "edit".

Sort range by color
Hey everyone!
I need to sort a range of cells (A6:H600) by interior color. I've
found some code that will sort the entire page, but I need to sort just
the range. There are only cells with a color index of 6 (yellow) and
all the rest are white. So all I need to do is have the yellow cells
show up at the top of the range, and then I'll delete the rest. This

Saved-workspace weirdness, questions
I have some saved workspaces in Excel 2002. E.g., one has five
workbooks saved together, another has three. When I open the
workspaces, I get warning messages about failed updates to links,
and I get an attempt to open a nonexistent workbook which results

How do I display limited columns in excel?
I am trying to make a form and I can't figure out how to display a limited
number of rows or colums. For example I only want there to be 30 rows

Array problems
Hello all,
I have the following formula using 3 name arrays of Day,City,columL.
ColumL is a sum of L11:L19. I am receiving the #Value error. I've tried
every way I know to solve this. Any ideas??
=SUM(AND(Day,"=Sunday",City,"=West",columL)).
The below formula works but I can't seem to get the second condition to work.
=SUMIF(Day,"=Sunday",columL)
