Two numbers in one cell
I want to enter two numbers in one cell, separated by a space or dash. I then
want to use a formula to sum the left hand number in one cell and the sum of
the right hand numbers in another cell. I would prefer to use a cell formula

how do I change a formula into an absollute number, so I can delete the
column where the number is.
I have a column in euros, a formula in another column to change it to
dollars.

Data Validation - Multiple Places Changing

How do I have the date in a spreadsheet change automically.

Cell Format
Is there any way for me to paste what visibly shows in a cell to what the
data actually is? I have a cell that shows 1101 3/25. It is formatted as a
fraction. In the formula bar, the data shows 1101.12. What I really want is

Can I automatically add or delete cells based on IF statements
Is it possible to set up a cell with a drop down menu selection of "Yes" and

print preview is showing at 17" x 22"
Page setup shows that I'm setup for 8.5 x 11 paper. But when I go into print
preview, it's showing a 17 x 22 sheet. When I try to print, it either wants
the larger paper or it prints to size and creates a miniature version of the
spreadsheet.
Any ideas?

cannot find excel add-in
We have an Excel-add that has been added via Tools|Add-ins and works.
However, when you go back to Tools|Add-ins you get the message
"Cannot find addin c:\xxxxx. Delete from list?"
If we answer No, add-in continues and we can verify that the XLA does exist.
If we exit Excel and re-start, Excel does not complain about the XLA being
missing, i.e. the registry OPENn is set correctly.

Cannot copy cell
Hi,
Have a workbook with cells that are merged and wrapped. The text in the
cells often exceed 256 characters. I need to copy the information from one
workbook to another formatted exactly the same. When I select the cell and
copy then paste into the equivalent cell in the other workbook, I only get

Sort range by color
Hey everyone!
I need to sort a range of cells (A6:H600) by interior color. I've
found some code that will sort the entire page, but I need to sort just
the range. There are only cells with a color index of 6 (yellow) and
all the rest are white. So all I need to do is have the yellow cells
show up at the top of the range, and then I'll delete the rest. This

How to: Change color of column / row headers and selected menus?
My colleague pointed out that in excel selected menus and row / column
headers for selected cells were highlighted orange on my screen and grey on
his. I subsequently noticed this to be the case for Word (but not Access).

One more question, please

Sort text that is deliminated within a cell
Hello all,
I am attempting to sort text within a cell. The text will mainly be
numbers, but the numbers may have some additional alpha characters in
front of it which do not affect the sorting order as only the numeric
values do. For instance, if I have the following

Ok...I have an Invoice that is on 1 sheet. How can I duplicate that sheet
into a 20 sheet book?

my file opens but is missing from the screen
I have saved my excel file and have been able to open it until today. The
file opens but the screen is blank. In the toolbar, you can see and tab to
see what info is in the different cells, one at a time of course like normal
but there is no file to look at below the tool bar. I print the file and all
the information comes out on the paper. What can I do?...
