Urgently need help with a formula!!!
Hello,
I'm badly in need of some help with an excel formula. Essentially I
need to check to see if the value of C7 is "Y" and if so for the
formula then to look at D7 through to J7 and look for a value of "Yes".
the total amount of "Yes" boxes should then be multiplied by J5 and the
result shown in L7.

copy worksheet from one xls file to another
Hello,
How can I copy an entire sheet from one XLS file to another?
I have tried Select All>Copy>Paste operation, but it does not resize
cells in the destination file.
The sheet I am copying is very big, so it's difficult to format all
cells againg in the destination file.
Please provide me solution.

Duplicating Text To Another Spreadsheet
I created a form in Word, cut and pasted it into Excel on three different
spreadsheets.
How can I format the spreadsheet to copy text to the other two spreadsheets
without having
to enter text three different times?

HELP! i need to add in a cell without automatically deleting
i need to add text into cells that have pre-exisiting data already in it
and every time i click on the cell to add something in at the end it
automatically deletes the pre-exisiting data. so i have to type all the
data over again and then add in what i wanted to at the end...how can i
add something to my cell without i automatically deleting the cell??

Day and Date - How to Automate
I create a schedule each month. There is a column heading for each day of the
month formatted like this. It is a General format:
Sunday 10-1 Monday 10-2 Tuesday 10-3 ... and so on.
Each month, I manually retype the day and date of each column to correspond
with the current month. Is there a way to automate this so I don't have
manually change 30 column headings each month?

Sending mail from within Excel
How can I fix the problem of not being able to send mail from within
Excel. When I click send to, then mail attachment, I get a log in
screen from "loginnet.passport". I use Novell Groupwise as my default
mail handler. It works fine from Word. I have tried I.E. options and
all settings are set as Groupwise. What am I missing?

Calculation speed
I have a not hugely complex workbook which I have been running without fuss.
Now, on machines upgraded to use Excel 2003, every time you enter a new piece
of info it takes up to a minute to calculate whilst the same file is fine on
the previous version of Excel. I can turn the automatic calculation off and
there is no delay but it seems odd to have to do this given that it had no
problem...

Date and Text combination
Hi,
could someone help me with getting this particular format in ONE SINGLE
cell:

Please note that the date part has to be variable, i.e i shuld be able
to drag the last cell to create a new cell with the next date. The Text
is some constant text that has to be prefixed to the date in each cell.

Macro to set the row height
I need to set the row height depending on the content of a cell.
If Cell A1 = "x", I want to set rowheight of A to 50, if A1 = y , then I
want to set rowheight of A to 75

Can EXCEL list amounts that, when added, total to a specific value? How?
My task is to generate a list of all "6 value combinations"
that total a collection of specific sums.
Simple Example: All "2 value combinations" that, when added, =13
List: D701:D709, filled with 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9

Recent File List not there
In Office Pro/Excel 2000 I have Options set to show the last 9
files used, but lately there have been none showing if I haven't opened

Conditional formatting question?
I tried to set two conditional formats across the same range of cells using
Format >> Conditional Formatting. I tried to set Formula Is =MAX(U5:AB5),
font = red, and Formula Is =MIN(U5:AB5), font = green. The font in all
cells turned red! What would be the correct way to do this?
