Copy and Pasting in Excel using VB
Thanks to everyone who helped last time. I am going to try this again.
I am trying to use a button to take a range of cells on a sheet, copy
and paste over the selected rows (in the next available column) to a
"MasterSheet" and link the cells to the original sheet, incase the
original page is updated.
If I can't do that, would there be a way to copy and paste those cells
onto a "Maste...

Slow responce to functions
I'm using Office pro 2003. I just noticed that when I try to perform any
simple functions in excel like cut and paste, copy and paste, even when I
close a spreadsheet that I changed and when the option pops up to save, if I
say no it takes way too long to perform these simple functions. Just a copy
and paste of one cell I'll sit here and watch the hourglass for the better
part 10 to 20 s...

if - then statement or advanced fine-replace?
I'm looking to make excel automatically do a find-replace.
I could go through one sheet, do a find on each item in column A, and
replace on each number in column A by hand, but I figured there would
be an easier more fail-safe
way to have excel automatically do what I'm doing by hand.
The end result is to find out what numbers are left over after
replacing all duplicate numbers.

Validation & Circular Reference Problems
Do you know of a way to create a group of Data Validation Lists that
derive their content from the same source such that each entry which is
selected causes other entries to become unselectable? For example, if I
select the 3rd item in the list, can the 4th item be striken-out,
crossed-out, shaded-out, or otherwise set apart from the others to
indicate that it should not be selected? And is the...

lookup 2 values in different sheets
I used this formula in an Excel worksheet to find the data that
correspond to those 2 values.
I used this code for the time being :
Code:
=INDEX(C1:C10,MATCH(1,(A1:A10=Lookup_1)*(B1:B10=Lookup_2),0))
But, what if I want to look in other worksheet?
What I meant here is that I have 2 worksheets, one for table of input
and one for the output. I put the table of data in input_sheet ...

Changing active cell within a selection with mouse-click
Hi,
I am wondering how this can be done... I know that one can move forward
and backward with the TAB key, however there has to be a way to do that
by just clicking on the cell to activate. I tried Ctrl+Click,
Alt+Click, Shift+Click, Alt+Ctrl+Click,... nothing seems to work...
Thx for your help.

Autofilter
The autofilter is excluding cells that contain data with 5 characters or
less. It doesn't matter if the data is a number or text.
I checked Tools, Options and there does not appear to be anything there
that limits the filter tool. Anyone have a suggestion to correct this?
