CORREL - IF Command .....
I think this is a type of array formula but i am having trouble getting
it right...
simple problem...
col A has summer/winter
col B has a list of values
col C has a list of values
I want to get a correlation of the two lists (col B and col C) if
summer and if winter.
I DO REALIZE that i could just select the specific cells that

Copying text from the Internet
I'm trying to clean up what is really a text table that I copy from a web
page which I then load into Excel 2000. My problems are:
1) The first column is a description of a Sales Track that is also formatted
as a URL. How can I keep the name as a name (only a name) and save the URL to
another Excel column?
2) One of the other columns comes across as a date column, but is actually

Excel file size w/row fill
Hi all
Is it reasonable for an excel file with 9400 rows, each highlighted
according to a grouping scheme to be 2.2 meg? Is the highlighting the cause
of this, I turned the conditional formatting off but didn't see a decrease
in size.
Thanks just curious...as it takes a few moments to open.

hi, if i have a range from A1 to A31, which per date in per cell during
month
and here is a way that i fill the color sunday
Select A1:A31
Goto Format>Conditional Formatting
Change Condition 1 to Formula Is
Add a formula of =WEEKDAY(A1)=1
Click the Format button
Select the Pattern Tab
Select an appropriate highlighting colour

clicking on a cell to have it add a number
Is there a way to click on a cell and have it put in a "1" the first time you
click, and then if you click it again have it put in a "2" and so on?
We do surveys in houses and need to count for example the number of chairs.
So, if we have a cell that says "chairs" and next to it the place to put the
number of chairs, we want to be able to click on the blank cell and have it

Pivot table
Hi
I have a spreadhseet which contains 5 pivot tables and a data source.
each time i hvae to refresh each pivot table individually to update the
data, anyone know how to merge or make the 5 pivot table refer to a main
pivot table, so that when i refresh 1 table, it will automatically
refresh the other?
Also i not sure if i create 5 pivot tables separately, it make my file
size become so ...

Excel 2007: Can't save workbooks anymore
I am using a simple 3 column Financial Cashbook with only Payee, Amount and
Date of Payment and the Template is Password protected.
When i want to save it as a workbook, the program crashes on me and restarts
Excel all over again without saving the workbook.
Saving it Password protected or not, it doesn't matter, the outcome is the
same even when the Cashbook isn't filled in....

Macro to color fill rows?
I know Excel doesn't read fill color but can you make a macro that finds all
cells with the word "total" in it and fill color that entire row?

Calcultating times
I work for a company that is in a time zone 2 hours ahead of me. I
receve my schedual in this format:
Date Start Time End Time
Sunday, August 20, 2006 1:00:00 AM 2:00:00 AM
But this is in the wrong time zone for me... is there a way to enter
this into excel and get the correct time and date for me?

formula Help
Hi Guys how r u,
I need a help if there is anyone can figure out.
I am doing a calculation
lets say target = 30 if any thing goes above 30 that goes (-)
=(100-30)*.1667 = 11.67
=(100-0)*.1667= 16.67 target ment
that is same thing i am doing with 600 limit
if any thing above 600 it count against the 16.67% and if it less than
600
it count in favore.

Problem entering numbers
Hello, I am having an awkward problem, on every sheet I use(Including
new ones)..
When I enter 100 it changes it to 1.
When I enter 1000 it changes it to 10
When I enter 10000 it changes it to 100.
I thought it was something to do with iteration in the tools>options
menu but I have set both of them to 1 and they are unticked anyway and
it shows the same problem.
Can anyone help plea...

Printing out only rows where certain cells have contents
We have a spreadsheet that has lots of rows in it.
However each time we use it only some of the rows are filled in under one of
the colums. If a row has that particular cell filled in (not null), we want
the row printed out in the report or printout. What is the best way to do
this?
