Copying XML data to Word
I have got an Excel XML spreadsheet which grabs data from Microsoft
CRM. I have set it up to have 5 different sheets.
I want to copy information from each of these sheets into Word, but for
some reason, only data from the first sheet is copied. When I try to
copy cells from other sheets, I get blank cells in Word.
Can anyone tell me why?
And even better, is there an automatic way to copy t...

Need help with finding closest match
Hi,
I have a spreadsheet where I have 3 columns of numbers in A, B, and C,
(skipping column D for clarity sake). In column A there are subgroups
of numbers in tenth increments until they get to the next subgroup.
However, if you truncate the column A numbers you would have 3 rows
starting with 1, 2 rows starting with 2, 5 rows starting with 3, 3 rows
starting with 4 and 1 row starting wit...

Automatic Stock Quotes?

Just wondering if there is any way of getting up to date stock prices

It would save a hell of a lot of time (currently typing them all in)
Cheers :)

problem with losing control of a worksheet
I am completely flabbergasted; I am editing a worksheet which is 1/5th
what it used to be - comparing two databases which are somewhat out of
control.
If two lines match exactly, I delete them, if two lines exist but do not
match, I correct the database and delete them, and if there is an
orphan, I hide it, with the intent of going back to match them against
other databases.
Now I ...

Use ROUND within custom function
I created a function to calc the % of markup, it works just fin until I
get into prices >99.99, and then it doesn't match to some current data
I'm using that I think is rounding. Have I built this function
properly? and if so how do I get it to round?
Function Markup(Price)
'Low to High price range * % + flat additional amount
If Price <= 9.99 Then Markup = Price * (400 / 100 +...

Adding (Sum of) Hours...
I'm sorry to ask such a seemingly trivial (!) question here..
I *have* Googled and XL Helped but cannot get this to work and I'm on a
tight timeframe.
I'm trying to add a simple column of hours (hh:mm) worked but simply can't
find the right combination of cell formatting to give a straight answer!
The hours are actually in non-adjacent cells (a3:c3:e3 etc) but if I can get
a column addi...

Decision Tree style logic in Excel
Hello,
Anyone can give me some advice on a decision tree style presentation in
XL? I want to do a survey which is to guide the user to a proper
result. Since I have already had all the tree structure, the only thing
I have to do is input the tree structure, and let the program keep
asking user, and then guide them to the leaves of the tree...
Many thanks.
