picture display problem
I got a problem which is I can preview excel file with picture normally, but
the picture be strange (e.g. the picture separate line by line) when display
in normal screen mode, why?

Sort numeric data in more than 3 columns in excel
Hi All,
I have to sort 12 columns of numeric data in descending order on a
excel worksheet. I currently sort 3 at a time and then move forward.
For example, I have sales data for months Jan to Dec. I want each of
these columns to show zeros at the bottom when the macro is run. The
rows would increase in future but the columns would be fixed. The

Custom Menu activates Web Toolbar

Now every time I open one of these files, the Web ToolBar pops up.
I don't need (or want) this.

Conditional Cell Number Formatting
I've looked back on several thousand messages or so and haven't seen

I am doing a mail merge from excel. There are two pieces to a page. I need
to sort the list but when I do a two up page, page 1 has #1 and so forth.
In small quantity that is not a big deal but when you do a 1000 pieces it
adds a lot of labor.
IF my list were 500 pieces, I would need to sort the spread sheet to print

How to restore F2 functions
Lately, I am unable to outline, when entering edit mode in a cell, the
cell's formula-related cells. I used to, upon pressing F2, see a cell's
formula and, highlighted in differing colors, the cells referenced by
the formula to be edited/viewed.
Any ideas how this very useful feature may be restored?...

Retrieve Deleted Worksheet
I did something very stupid. I deleted a worksheet from a workbook. I
thought to myself: there are too many worksheets in this workbook.
That one is blank, so I'll delete it. Unfortunately, there are some
important macros stored in that worksheet and I don't have another copy
of them.

Underline with accounting format
Preface: If you use the accounting format and the underline you get a great

Playing MP3 files embeded in Excel
I'm using Insert | Object | From File to insert an MP3 file into an Excel
2003 worksheet. I don't link to the original file (so I'm embedding it) and
I change the icon from the default. Excel shows the icon correctly and
allows me to play the file in Windows Media Player v10 successfully by
double-clicking on the icon.

Make a pivot table from an existing pivot table
I'm trying to make a completely new pivot table out of an existing
pivot table where the existing table is actually the source data (not
the original data table). The problem I have is that this intermediate

Formatting decimal Number as text
I want to show a number (really a dollar amount) as you would write on a check
10.95 as "Ten and 95/100". I wrote a function, but it's tricky. Anyone

mystery background color
In some worksheets that I've inherited, I noticed that there seems to
be a way to give sheets a background color other than
Format/Sheet/Background (which uses an image) and
Format/Cells/Patterns.
As is the case of Format/Sheet/Background, this color does not print.
In the workbooks in question, the color does not vary from sheet to
sheet, so it may (or may not) be workbook-wide.

1 excel file but 2 windows open
I receive a excel file from my workmate
when I open this file, the excel windows open and display the same content,
but the file name shown are different, e.g 1 windows show abc:1, another
windows show abc:2
And the file owner dont know why the file become like this.
