How to set a relative path with linked table
Hello,
1) I need to know if a relative path can be configured for linked tables. I
want to separate the code from the tables so I can work on the code off
line. I want to put the back end database with tables in the same directory
as the application database with the code.
2) I have that I should not be using a shortcut to a common front end for
mutliple users. Why is that?

How to save the Page Setup margin value?
Dear all,
In one of my queries, I've used the datasheet view to view the result, and I
would like to print it out for reference. However, the problem is that in
such datasheet, it seems that I can't set the Page Setup and change the
margin. The problem is that I've changed the margin value this time, but next
time the margin value will be returned to the default value, it's so
inconvenient f...

Working with a Split Database
I have split our database with a font end and back end. The back end
contains all of the tables and resides on the file server. Each user has a
copy (not a shortcut) of the front end which contains all of the forms,
queries and reports. Now I have a few questions:
1. I update this database regularly. Each time, I must email everyone to
make a new copy of their computer. Is there a...

Access95 Out of Memory
I have MS Access 95. It does what I need and I am not interested in
upgrading.
I got a new computer with 1Gb RAM (Windows XP). I installed Access 95 and
it ran fine.
Then I had to do a system recovery that reformatted my hard drive, so I had
to reinstall everything. Now it will not run. I get an "Out of memory"
error which the knowledge base implies is due to having 1Gb RAM and an ol...

Corrupt Database Locking??
Last week my company upgraded from Office 97 to Office 2003. Everything has
been working ok this week, but last night I was unable to update records in a
database. After looking at it today, I discovered that when I open the .ldb
file the only thing listed is "䅌䑎å…㉗K†††††††††††æ‘æ¥n†††††††††††††", nothing
else. I can go to another...

Tools
In Tools - Options - View tab you can click on the option to show windows in
taskbar. Everytime I close out my DB I have to set that. I've clicked apply
each time, but it still resets when I close out and get back in. Is there a
way to fix that so I don't have to reset it every time?
Thanks in advance

How to open a database password protected in Access 2000
Hi there!
I have trouble opening an access 2000 protected with password.
I am automating the access 2000 in VB6. My code starts like this....
....
x = getobject(,"Access.application.9")
x.opencurrentdatabase(dbname,...)
....
I found no way to open it except in access 2003 where in the
opencurrentdatabase it included the pwd parameter.
Is there another way to open it?

Access 2003 + ODBC + Postgres configuration question.
Hi all,
I need to use Access 2003 to connect to a remote Postgres database (it is on
a network, but I PUTTY'd in and forwarded ports so that it shows up locally
for me if that makes a difference) via ODBC. I used the MIS version of
psqlODBC and have that installed. I just need to know how get it all working
together.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks for reading.

flag/trigger
Hi,
I have a form that tracks software information such as date purchased,
amount and expiry date. I was wondering if there was anyway to flag/trigger
the system to notify me when the expiry date is near. An email if possible
if not any other way. I would like this so that I know when the expiry date
is near and I need to reorder.
Thanks, any help would be appreciated....
