Problems creating an MDE
Hi!
i've got a small dbase with some forms having some coding in them. when i
try to create an MDE nothing happens. The system asks me where i want to save
the MDE file, then closes all screens in Access & at the bottom left 'Make
MDE/ADE' is shown. i left it running for minute but nothing happens. When i
check the processes on my pc, Access is at 98%!

Getting an "Error in Loadding DLL"
When I try to open the Input Mask Wizard I get this error "Error in Loadding
DLL". I have Repaired, Reinstalled, Removed & Reinstalled. I am using MS
Office XP Pro Access 2003. What is the DLL name?

Access97 on Windows XP
We are upgrading to new computers but have older software the runs ontop of
Access 97. I tried to load the Access97 into a separate directory than the
Office 2003 that came with the machine but when I tried to open Access97
application I get the message "there is no license for Acces on this machine"
What can I do?...

Problem Importing Excel Tables into Access 2000 & 2003
On my laptop I have MS-Access 97, 2000, and 2003 installed (needed for
different
apps). Only in the '97 version am I able to use the Import Tables function,
to import Excel spreadsheets. This feature is not available to me in the
other two versions. I each case I have the full premium version of Office
installed, and have not suppressed any features or wizards in the install.

Access/SQL Server with Oracle Linked server
Hi,
I would like to connect a couple of table from a Oracle 9.2 Server into my
Access XP project file (adp extension). That Access front-end file is linked
to my SQL Server Database back-end.
To connect the table from Oracle I have created and configured a .udl file

How to fix problem with Access treating DB2 BIGINT as TEXT?
MS-Access does not recognize BIGINT as a number and it produces an ODBC error
when BIGINTfield is used in selection criteria.
[IBM][CLI Driver][DB2/6000] SQL0401N The data types of the operands for the
operation "=" are not compatible. SQLSTATE= 42818
Is there a fix or work around?

OLE server or ActiveX Control
When creating a button on the main page to run a query we are encountering
the following error message: “The expression On Click you entered as the
event property setting produced the following error: A problem occurred
while BOXES was communicating with the OLE server or ActiveX Control.†If I
run the Query from within querys it works. Any help would be appreciated

Breaks not working cant step into procedure.
I am using Access 2002. None of the breakpoints work. The execution just
continues as if they weren't thwere. Even putting a STOP in the code doesn't
work. I can't get it to step into the procedure and I can't watch variables.
It makes it very difficult to debug. Anybody have any ideas. I have this db
on a flash draive and I have the same problem in three different locations

Some Help !
I am attempting to design a new database in Access.
It is for the Management of all the Admirals in the US Navy.
Would anyone be interested in helping me design this thing?
I have the one that we currently use, and its quite a mess (or at I think it
is).
But fixing it seems to be too hard for me.

Office XP Professional partial install failure
Have re-installed Office XP Pro over and over. 4 of 5 apps install & work
fine. ACCESS does not. Get installation message over and over for ACCESS each
time I attempt to run the program, saying basically "installing & getting
necessary info", but no error message appear & program does not run. I am at
a loss. I have uninstalled & re-installed. I have tried repair option.
Nothing works....

Query of Existing Tables, Queries , or Both
I have a user (developer), Windows 2000 with Office XP, that does most of his
work in Access. When he tries to create a new query in an existing database
using the design view and if the number of existing tables, or queries, or
those listed under both exceed the amount that will fit in the window before
the scroll bar appears, the window displays either a couple of the existing
entries...

outlook 2000
problem in using a scanner to send email.I have windows and office 2000SR1
proffesional. There appears to be a problem with Outlook which is on my P.C
but not configured/installed.I am getting a message that I must insert the
disc which I do not have because it was installed when I bought the P.C.When

Impact on Outlook?
A friend reported that her Outlook is not receiving or sending emails since
she installed Access in her system.
She claimed that nothing else was installed or changed in the mail accounts.
Is there anything that the installation of Access could change to cause the
problem in Outlook?
She needs help soon, since she is a site Manager and gets lots of mail.

What is the best way to Install Word 2003 (Microsoft Office Basic Edition
2003) for an office envrionment that will be sharing the calendar. The

Time Slot Query
Scenario: 2 students in class on Mon, Wed, Fri from 1-3, another 3 students
in class Mon, Tues, Wed from 2-4. I would like a report/query that displays
in half hour blocks the sum of students in that timeframe.
For example above result would be
Monday 1-1:30 = 2
Monday 1:30 -2 = 2
Monday 2-2:30 = 5
Monday 2:30-3 = 5
and so on.

KWorld ATSC-110 dual pci tuner
The partner site lists this card as a dfMCE Component. I took this to mean
that it is certified and will work under Media Center. It does not. Can

lost CD - need Additional Wizards
Hi folks.... have an owner with XP Office with Access2002. All seems
licensed ok. They did not install the Additional Wizards and I need them to
get the Link Table Manager & Wizard......but they can not seem to find the
CDs that came with the PC... is there a download of these at the Microsoft
web site? have searched around but don't find anything.....
