Access 2003 won't run on Terminal Server
I have installed Office 2003 on Windows 2003 Server with Terminal Services
enabled in Application Mode. I followed the intructions for installing on a
terminal server, but Access will not run. I get the error:
"The application failed to initialize properly (0xc00000fd)"
All the other office applications work just fine.
What am I doing wrong??

Trouble with Label Wizard
I have Office Pro 2000. In my Access, I was experiencing 2 problems that I
knew of - in the labels wizard the fields are not visable in the box where I
add them to my report(label) with the arrows to move over. They were there -
in that if I blindly arrow down and move it over I get what ever that was
but I can't see them to choose the correct one. The same occurs in the input

OpenReport command cancels by itself
I have an Access 2000 db with a front end / back end design. All users have
Win2K or WinXP sp2. Database has been running fine for at least a year
(bought the XP machines in Nov 2004). Now on ONE machine ONLY, a
DoCmd.OpenReport command throws an error. My code looks like:

New Server - slow MS Access
Recently changed server OS (and new hardware) from Novell to MS Small
Business Server 2003 and I'm now experiencing very slow performance using MS
Access.
I have front-end / back-end databases setup on the server and client
workstations and whenever I make a change to an object on the front-end
database it takes 5-10 seconds for Access to allow me to select another
object or open a menu...

vpn and network connection locking issues
I have a 2000 database with a front end and a backend. A new frontend is
copied down to the c: drive daily and the backend is on the network f: drive.
I have a few users using a vpn desktop remote access with the same frontend
the desktop users have and points to the f:backend. Lately, I'm having an
exclusive lock problem when a user goes on though the VPN. The weird thing

Differnces in application on different computers
I am having difficulty with an Access file that I am deploying for a company.
Specifically two things:
1. Even though screen resolutions are the same, many of my labels or text
fields are not showing up entirely on the screen. Is there something I can do
on the individual PCs?
2. I have a command button on one of my forms that runs a simple report. On
my machine it does what it is intend...

Will Access 2000 work well on a PC using WindowsXP/Office2003?
I use Windows XP and Office 2003. The Office doesn't have Access or
Powerpoint. I would like to install Access and Powerpoint 2000 from another
disc. All software is mine, and is legal. Will these 2000 programs work

Warning message with yes/no choice. How to select yes automatical
Dear user
I have a macro which contains a sequence of make table queries. Whenever I
run the macro I have to select yes to a warning message choice for each make
table query.
The make table query involves deleting the old table before creating a new
one and it always asks if it is ok to do so?
I would like to be able to avoid answering yes or no to this manually. I

None of my wizards are working in Access 2003
I've been having a problem where I cannot access any of the Access wizards.
Does anyone have an idea how to reenable them? I've removed and reinstalled
the application and that hasn't worked. I'm not in sandbox mode....

Problem with Send feature in Access 97
Hi I have a problem with Access 97 and using the send feature. I get the
error" Microsoft Access Can't Open the Mail Session" I have Office xp
standard installed. I installed Access 97 after it. There is a Known issue
installing Access 97 after office 2000 and it says to delete a registry key
but nothing about Office xp....

Runtime Library
Hi everyone, I have a project nearing completion and I would like to use it
on computers that may or may not have access. Can I compile the project into
an executable. Do I need additional software? I've looked around the help
files but I'm not sure I'm looking in the right place. I appreciate any

Can't remove an Excel reference
I have an Access 2002 app running under Windows 2000. On my PC at work I
have Excel 2003 installed, and the app has a reference to Excel 11.0. On my
home PC I'm running Excel 2002, and the app needs a reference to Excel 10.0.
When I bring a copy of mdb file home and attempt to remove the reference to
Excel 11.0 so I can reset it to Excel 10.0 I get an error 17 "Can't perform

Error viewing image on report
Hello, I'm deploying an Access 2003 application using the access runtime.
On my test box, reports with an Image object that displays pictures stored
on the file server do not work. These reports work fine on my development
box fine which has the full office installed. How do I figure out what else
to install or fix the report to work correctly on a machine that doesn't
have the full version...

how do I custom download access 2003
I have Access 2003 Professional and initially did the Recommended install.
However, some of the functions I need do not work (ie.Input Mask). When I try
and install the CD to attempt a Custom download (thought that might fix some
of the problems I am having), I get a popup window that asks me for Use
Source path. I have no idea what that is, any ideas?

reactivating after replacing a motherboard and cpu
I have replaced a cpu and motherboard on my computer (hp pavillion)
not an oem motherboard.
when I try to call in the activation center they tell me it is an
invalid code.
does anyone know how to contact microsoft to talk to a real person to
activate the computer. their web site wants me to call type in my
product id key but I can only get the logon screen and the activation

I have just got a new laptop from work and it has Office 2003 and Windows XP
Professional installed. I am trying to install my copy of Access2000 SR-1 but

I just installed Office 97 on a brand new PC running Win XP.
Although it worked fine on my old PC, on the new one, when I tried to open
Access, I get this error message:
"Microsoft Access can't find the Visual Basic for Applications DLL vba332"
I reimaged my PC and installed Office again, but got the same message.
