Why - because Access will not allow me to work on the DB within Access unless I convert it. This is stupid! I just used tools and did a conversion. This went OK. Recently I had to install servicepack 3 to correct some errors in the autoname correct feature. Now all my e-mails request user input before they can go out (so much for automation).
