Linking Question
Suppose I have numerous tabs in a spreadsheet and let's say one is call "Co
1". If another tab has Co 1 in cell A1 and Co 2 in cell A2. If I am in cell
B1, is there a way to use the contents of cell A1 to link to tab "Co 1"?...

Macro Error: Can't Find the Macro
I'm using Access 2003. I downloaded the Issues template. When I open Edit
Contacts and attempt to select a report by double clicking a specific report
for that contact I get an error message that "Issues can't find the macro
1stReports: On Dbl Click in macro group View Reports Macros." Below is the

OutputTo macro with MsgBox - Help!
Hi,
I have a an action macro OutputTo that exports my queries into Excel. I
want to include a message box saying something like "Data exported
successfully" once it has been exported (clicked "OK" in the Output To
dialog box). However if the user clicks Cancel instead, the msg will
still display, even tho nothing has been exported.

I cannot decipher my macro error message
I'm using Access 2000 to build a budget database. I don't know what to do
about the error message I'm getting on a form. When I open the form the
message comes up saying, "Microsoft Access can't find the macro
'mcr_RequiredFieldWarning_ProjectName.'
The macro (or its macro group) doesn't exist, or the macro is new but hasn't

Publish known bugs
Please can you publish all known bugs for MS products. As a developer this
would help me enormously.
I am using Acc2003 and I have a scenario where:
Claimed = 500
Cap = 465
and Acc2003 SP2 returns Claimed > Cap = False
Is this a known Access bug or not?

Hello all,
I am trying to figure out how to calcualte a Field (Date) from another Field
in the same table.
I tried using the Dateadd expression as well as a query, I just cant seem
to get it right.
Here is what i am trying to do:
Field 1:
5/05/2002
I want the value of Field 2 to be 30 Years later: 5/05/2032

Macro/RunCode - referencing a listbox on a subform
I have a shortcut menu on a listbox that calls a macro. The macro passes the
listbox to a function via the RunCode command.
This works fine when my form is not a subform, but it doesn't work when I
place my form on another form (where it needs to be).

Security Warning when downloading Templates from Microsoft.com
When I go to download the inventory management template from Microsoft.com I
get a warning saying that the file may not be safe if it contains code that
were intended to harm your computer. Then it asks if I want to open the file
or cancel it. May macros security is set on medium which it suggested before

How to change criteria in a query using a macros
I have aprrox 50 queries that all have one field on common (Division). I need

I have a form based on test_attempt table which shows test_id, student_id,

Transactions with VBA
Hello,
I want to delete and update records of different tables and when
there's an error, nothing should be done. I read about
ADODB.Connection.BeginTrans and .CommitTrans and .RollbackTrans. I am

Need help
I have a formula of sort that is suppose to count the number of days between
two dates. I have that part down I think. I need this to happen only when the
beginning date is a day other than the first day of a month.
In other words if the date is 3/1/06 I need the formula to put in a zero
“0â€â€¦if the date is anything other than the 1st of a month then it should

Tab Control SetValue Macro Follow Up question
Previous posts and responses from Tina helped me look at possible solutions
to a subform control to construct my setvalue macros (mcrChest in my
applcation).
I am still having problems identifying the correct control. I left the
sample Access 2002 database on one of my web sites
