Using Access 2000 across the Internet
My local Crinkles group(U3A), of which I am one, want me to develop a noddy
database and web
site for their members. Some are computer literate, others not so. I thought
an Access 2000 .mdb on a server from the local council with a web page in

How do I concatenate a URL / hyperlink on an access form that actually works??
OK, so I've tried a bunch of methods via query expressions and I can't
get the hyperlink to actually work. Here's what I'm trying to do: A
hyperlinked field (field3) that gets its hyperlink from two other
fields via some form of concatenation. field1 is the base URL and
field2 is the relative URL

Load and Save XML Page
have an access program that needs to download and load XML data from a site.
The access program then imports this XML. The page i'm loading is accessed
via entering a user name and password in the web page and then clicking the
submit button - there is no commandline access via a URL with username= and

Short time changes to long time
I have a table field set as "Short Time". In a query or on a report if I
put it in a formula, it changes to a long time format with seconds and
AM/PM. For instance in a text box
"=IIf(IsNull([InputTime]),"",[InputTime])", the time changes from short to
long. Is this an access bug or something I am doing?

Problem Opening URL(FM) in windows media player after connecting to a VPN connection.
Hi,

This works fine until I connect to a VPN. once I connect to VPN, I am
