I have a database that has a table named Summary with the following data
fields and others that are not relivent to the question:
[Upgrade date] [CR #] [CR Reported Data]
2/12/2006 235556 5/18/2006
I am trying to trend the [CR #] weekly for a period of time 30 days prior to
the [Upgrade Date]

Opening and printing from Word from Access 2003
I'm new at this and am stuck....I am working on a document program that
starts in Access entering data that will be printed with mail merge. I would
also like the documents to print in a "batch" (approx 5 different forms).
How can I go from the entry form in Access, open Word and print the forms? I
would also like to be able to print individual forms as needed.

Linked to Locked File?
I know I can't import or create a link to a file when it's locked by another
user. However, once I create a link (when it's not locked), will I be able
to get in or a will I get lock error if if the file is locked? Thanks! ...

Seem to have a file missing now
Hi I am using A2000 on WINXP I platform plugged in a small amount of VB Code
to mark an old address as onsolete when a new one is added and it all worked
fine. A couple of days back I had my system hang unexpectedly and much
later I noticed that now when I call the VB code I get an "Error accessing
file. A Network connection may hgave been lost error message."
Everything looks ok though...

I need to populate a Word table from an Excel spreadsheet.
I have a standard Word form with a table that is currently populated by
typing. I have a spreadsheet in Excel that contains the information needed.
I want to be able to type in a number on the table that will activate the
whole row in Excel thus populating the same fields in the Word document....

Search
I m using the search command code to find a record, when I type in a record
ID. the code seem works well to find the certain record ID.
Like for e.g. I have 15 records, I m able to find those > 11 but fail to do
so for those record <10 .
Can I know why? How to solve this problem?

.....I'm having some trouble in designing an inventory database...hopefully

I'd like to create an inventory database where there is one record for each

Form Coding??
I am trying to establish a code to make 6 "bound" check boxes (A,B,C etc)
appear as checked when an different "unbound" checkbox (Full) is checked on a
form named sensitising.
I have tried this

Visual Calendar Capability?
Does Access allow you to take events and export it into a visual calendar,
similar to Project, but with more flexibility?
Example:
Season Event Date
Spring Dance 5/1/07
Fall Ball 8/15/07

print specific reports
I have a report - that gets its data from a query - and I have a form that
lists the results from the query.
I would like to put a command button next to each record, and which ever
button I click, it will print only that data, not the entire query.
Can anyone help me please? I've been working on this all day and I'm going
nowhere fast....

Performance Tanks after Splitting Database
I've been working on a database project for a few months, and now that it's
nearly complete I have split the database so that the tables reside on the
server and all other pieces are at local computers. While building it, I
had everything on my own computer.
Problem is that now the performance is terrible. What used to take about
the time it takes to click a mouse button now takes 5 t...

hyperlinks vs command buttons
I went to a class in access 2003 and they suggested using hyperliks to
navigate to reports, forms etc...it seems really simple and worked well.
What would be the drawback from doing this?

select which table reports go to from form
I might have already posted this question, but I can't find it, so here's to
the ignorance again.
I have a form based on results from a query. The query basically gives me a
"bad boy" list of people. I would like to have two button options next to
each name in the form. One sends the name to a "waived" table, the other
sends them to the "prosecute" table.
