Printing off field list
hi
I note that Tools/Analyse isn't available for Adps. How do I print off a
list of all fields in a table?
Its a SQL Server table, so if its better to just print from there, let me
know how please.
Thanks
Diarmuid

New to ADP
Hi
I've been programming Access for years, but always Mdb. I've just started a
new job, and my first assignment is an Adp.
Looks very similiar - so far!
Is there anything I should be aware of, things I could do in a Mdb that I
can't do in an Adp?
Or, better still, extra features in an Adp that I should know of?
Thanks
Diarmuid

I'm running an Access 2000 Database on Windows 2000. The Access Database
links to SQL Server 2000 tables. The error occurs when the users login with
their windows login (my sql server is mixed authentication) and open the

ADE or MDE: Does this sound logical?
Hi
Sorry, this is all a bit "after the fact", but I'm interested in oppinions
please as I may adopt this approach again:
I recently developed an application for a client which has to run on a very
slow and unreliable network. Replication is not on the menu for various
reasons, MSDE backend and the front-end needed to be MS Access (XP) as they
are already familiar with VBA etc.
I d...

Access Front End broke. Due to concurrent users?
I searched this forum but didn't find anything like this that looked like it
was particular to .ADP files. Maybe that's because it doesn't matter what
kind of file you're using. If so, I apologize for being bone-headed.
We (not me, I didn't do it) have a .ADP front end housed on a network drive.
It is the only copy of the front end in use for several concurrent users and
it broke--fortuna...

transferspreadsheet is very slow
The customer uses windows 2000 and office 2000. I have made an access 2000
project (.adp file) as client connected via network to sql server 2000
server.
The problem is that import of excel worksheet via the client has become so
slow. It takes 10 minutes to import 4000 lines / 14 columns from excel. Some
weeks ago the same operation was done in a few seconds.

Modifying Sql server data through Access
We are planning to move our database from Access to Sql server. But the front
end application to remain in Access. We will be creating ODBC links to the sql
server database to use its functionality. The problem is if while creating
the links in Access if I do not supply the field for indexing, Sql server
does not allow me to modify the tables through Access. I do not prefer to
supply index key...

Query limitation
Being new to access, I used the Query builder to identify the field list in
Report Generator. I'm creating a report in Report Generator that pulls across
multiple tables. As many as 8. When I get to the sixth table, it causes the
links to come up with an error. 5 tables is fine and everything links
correctly, when I add the sixth, all the links on the report #error
Here is the SQL state...

Mail Merge with Access query linked to SQL tables
Hi,
I just can't figure this out! I have a mail merge that works with an Access
2000 parameter query (with linked Access tables). Been working for months.
I've changed the parameter query to use linked SQL Server tables and it
works fine from Access. When I try to connect the new query to my Word
document, I'm unable to see the new query in the list. I've seen other

Okay, I'm just about at my wits end trying to get this to work. Here is our
