No dup records
I need to be able to show all records only one time. this is my sql
statement. If there are 3 of the same case number it will not display any of
them, How do i fix it so it will display one of the 3.

Employees
I have a secured database in which each employee must login to have access. I
am wondering if there is a way so that when the employee goes to order
another item it will automatically enter their name into the the "Ordered by"

No linked table manager after installing 03
OK, I just installed Access 2003 and it works. Better
yet I still have Access 97 working.
However, I dont have a linked table manager which is
a very important feature for me and I can't even find the
the new Northwind Database and all sorts of other
stuff. I tried to run the install disk again, but this is a very
tricky operation as I cannot lose Access 97 until I
complete the upgrade ...

How to decrease database size?
Hello,
I'm having interesting dilemma. I made a copy of an database and then
removed all tables and queries I didn't need. (Fast way to pick those
which I want)
Now the thing is that even thgouht I removed almost all tables the size
of the database is still the same (about 500Mt).
How can I actually get the unwanted data deleted from database ?

install Access 2002 on top of Office 2003 (with access)
I need to install access 2002 on top of Office 2003, running access 2003. (We
had problems with our db running 2003). Normally, I'd de-install 2003
completely, then install all but access 2003, then install access 2002. But
these computers were burned with an image at the factory.
Does anyone know if I can I just install access 2002 on top of office 2003
without de-installing 2003?

I am being blocked from viewing reports and printing in Access?
When we first got access we tried to set up a database in Access 2003 with
security and all that fun stuff. It wasn't working for us so we went with

Continuous Form vs ListBox (follow up Message for Strive4Peace)

Access 2003 keeps crashing with fatal error
This is getting very frustrating. Access 2003 crashes with a fatal error
(very apologetic) and asks me if I want to repair and reopen. Once this
starts happening it keeps happening every 5 minutes. It seems to me mainly
as I am doing a copy/paste in design mode on a form or just when moving
controls. I thought it was just my Notebook but am having the same problem
on my new Notebook....

Linked Tables Issue, connection string, default db
Have you ever typed up a question to the group, only to figure out the
answer as you typed it out?

I had been asked to improve an mdb file. The upsizing wizard wouldn't

Error 3734
I have received an error message that reads "The database has been placed in
a state by user <name> on machine <name> that prevents it from being opened
or locked. (Error 3734)" I was trying to programmatically add a record.

addition in text boxes
I have three text boxes Qty1, Qty2 and Qty3.
I used the following expression to calculate (add) the values in the text
boxes
=[Qty1]+[Qty2]+[Qty3]
But they don't add up they just have each individual number in the total
text box.
