install Access 2002 on top of Office 2003 (with access)
I need to install access 2002 on top of Office 2003, running access 2003. (We had problems with our db running 2003). Normally, I'd de-install 2003 completely, then install all but access 2003, then install access 2002. But these computers were burned with an image at the factory. Does anyone know if I can I just install access 2002 on top of office 2003 without de-installing 2003? Than...

Example of Microsoft keeping the "little guy" down
Hello everyone I just thought people should know about the BS that goes on behind the scenes at MS. I tried to acquire the keyboard/mice displays that you see at the big chain stores. You know the black rectangular things that sit on the product shelves where the mice and keyboards sit and are tied up to the thin piece of metal. I am trying to get these for my new retail store that I am op...

I already tried completely reinstalling Office 2003 but still have the same pr...

Continuous Form vs ListBox (follow up Message for Strive4Peace)
Hello Crystal, some time ago you were kind enough to assist me with an issue on the Access Discussion Group. You indicated that you may have some code capable of replicating the functionality of a ListBox on a form, i.e. using a continuous form instead of the ListBox. If that is still the case, could you please let me know where I could retrieve the sample from? (One limitation I would ...

Access 2003 keeps crashing with fatal error
This is getting very frustrating. Access 2003 crashes with a fatal error (very apologetic) and asks me if I want to repair and reopen. Once this starts happening it keeps happening every 5 minutes. It seems to me mainly as I am doing a copy/paste in design mode on a form or just when moving controls. I thought it was just my Notebook but am having the same problem on my new Notebook....

Linked Tables Issue, connection string, default db
Have you ever typed up a question to the group, only to figure out the answer as you typed it out? In case it helps someone in the future, I'm thought I would explain it here. I had been asked to improve an mdb file. The upsizing wizard wouldn't convert it to a project, so I opted to move the tables to a SQL server. This all seemed to work well, with the linked tables working perfectly ...
