Setting Up Users
I was looking for some help with setting up users for my DB. Because of
where I work the DB is on a shared drive so all user with access to that
drive can access the DB. I would like to assign user but the last time I
tried it only worked on my computer and not the others. Any help or guidance
would be welcomed!...

Excessive database size
I keep information about my CD library on a fairly simple database on access.
There is a CD table and a Source info table with names, addresses,
hyperlinks for my most common suppliers. There are a couple of very simple
reports, two or three simple queries and a data entry form for the CD info.
I enter the supplier info directly into the table view.
There are 560 records on the CD tabl...

Creating a Report
Hi everyone
My Report retrieves data from a specific MS SQL Table. The report is

The Data within that Table can be defined into 3 sub-categories; say
Material A, Material B, Material C
My Question is:
Is it possible to tell the Report to start a new Page as soon as data from
the next category appears. So, as soon as all the Data concerning Material A

Filesearch in Access 2007 Beta
Hi all,
Some code that I wrote in ACC2003 using the FileSearch object does not work
in the 2007 Beta. I have read that the new object model has "hidden" this
object (though I'm not sure what that means precisely). At any rate the
FileSearch object has ceased to function.
Is anyone aware of this issue and/or a work-around to using the FileSearch
object to getting a list of file names ...

Adding Times in Short Time Format
I am using Access 2003. One of the fields in my program is is the passage of

All of these times are formated in Short Time Format (hh:nn). This works
great until I try to get the Sum of "Total_Time". It works fine until the

Surveys
Okay, l have a survey that contain 28 quetions. Each question that is
answered yes, will have a number value to it. For example, if they answered
yes to "is the plan a 5500 plan?" that question is worth 1 point. I want the
total points added up on the form? So when I do a query and as for the plans
that scored between 50-60 ponts to pull up, it would be able to do so....
