- Nehmo - Apparently, I did have Compact HTML as a working add-on to Word 2003. It worked, and I didn’t use the feature on any other installation of Word 2003, so I never noticed that Filtered HTML was what was normal for Word 2003.
I think the current condition (Compact HTML disappearing) occurred when I was repairing an unrelated problem in Word. But you know how one thing leads to another, and I got sidetracked with a problem with Explorer’s search. Checking the Case sensitive box in Explorer’s search does the opposite of what it should. I still haven’t figured that one out.
Anyway, during the repair process, I deleted Normal.dot. I suspect deleting Normal.dot caused the changeover form Compact HTML to the Filtered HTML. But then again, I did other stuff too, and I don't see how an add-on can disappear that way.
