The Problem: We have an application framework that is compiled as a DLL and sits on top of MFC. Basically it looks like this: MFC.dll Our MainFramework.dll Client.exe
We NEED this to run inside of a window on a browser. Ideally, this would run inside a window that is placed in a browser and it would run it's own thread and pump it's own messages. It's only interaction with the browser window would probably be to get resize information and other basic events. Later we may want to communicate between the javascript and the C++ app, but that is much less important right now.
We have full access to all of the code and can recompile the client.exe into a dll if needed. Our initial idea is that we could run inside of an Out of Process Active X Server. We need someone with the experience to pull that off.
Later we may want to write a Firefox plugin or some other firefox solution. We are open to any ideas to get these done.
