Enter Key Behavior on ActiveX controls
ParadiseIsle <ParadiseIsle.1y0161[ at ]no-mx.forums.yourdomain.com.au> 05.11.2005 00:50:37
I am using an activex control on an access form. The activex control has more than one textbox. When I press enter in one of the textboxes on the activex control, the focus hops off the activex onto a textbox on the form (that is not on the activex control). I have tried everything to convert the enter to a tab and stay on the activex, but to no avail. Can anyone suggest something? There is no other way to deal with this because the enter code is coming from an external measuring device. Thanks for your response, but ctrl+enter doesn't move between textboxes
on my activex control either! It just beeps and the focus stays in the
same place.

Sorry I misunderstood your request.
Have you tried changing the default behaviour of the Enter Key?
Tools->Options->Keyboard Tab
