123->Excel
"George W. Barrowcliff" <george.barrowcliff[ at ]flash.net> 22.12.2005 03:32:46
Office 2000 Pro
I reinstalled Office Pro with all the converters but Excel still won't
convert Lotus spreadsheets.
It recognizes them because it says "Cannot open Lotus Worksheet"
Is there another converter somewhere or option that I should have taken to
get it to convert 123 files?

TIA

There is no converter for 123 files with a .123 extension, only those with
..WK? extensions.

You need to have someone with Lotus save it down as an Excel file (If they
can), or save it as a .wk4 extension which Excel can handle.

Yes... Been there!! File - save as file save as file save as.. over and
over.. we did this to 15,000 + files. It was great!! Password protected
files will not convert. You must remove the password first. We also
purchased a macro tool where you could save your keystrokes and this did help
speed it a long a little faster, but it still took all weekend with serveral
people.
If you need any more info just let me know.
