HELP!
I have a ton of spreadsheets that were created with excel xp, or 2000, or 2002. If I bring up a spreadsheet created in excel xp or 2000, the spreadsheet has the printer information (i.e. "print on both sides") stored. Even if the printer I am attached to does not have "print on both sides" as a default preference.
If I bring up the same spreadsheet using excel 2003, it doesn't appear to have the saved printer information ("print on both sides") any longer. It just prints at the default printer current settings. Does 2003 ignore earlier version saved values??
I know if I create a publication using microsoft publisher, and I specify duplex and a certain printer, it doesn't matter where I pull that publication up, it saves that information. I thought excel also saved this information.
This is a real problem and am wondering if I need to have some setting changed in my excel???
If anyone knows, please reply here or email me at gappleg8[ at ]spam.fscoop.com (remove the spam).
