XML Toolbox Toolbar nhojnesnah 11.10.2005 10:35:03 after you install the Word 2003 Toolbox you get an additional toolbar which helps you work with schemas. It worked fine for me for a few days as I groped my way through the early exercises, then just as I neared first practical steps it vanished .... POOF !! there it isn't any more ! No XML toolbar. I can still see the pane on the right with the XML structure. I have uninstalled/reinstalled the toolbox tried all sorts of things, but I cannot get the toolbar back. Without it you are really handicapped if you are tailoring a document and a schema. The schema library seems incredibly picky about recognising updates. Has anyone else seen this ??

When you open word, click Tools -> Templates, do you see a line for MSWordML Toolbox.dot? Is it checked? If it is not there, you want to add it. I suspect that you were having a good flail trying to get things to work, and inadvertently turned it off, or caused an error that caused Word to turn off all Add-ins and external templates.
