Thanks Hollis, you hit the nail exactly. After adding MSWordML Toolbox.dot from C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office 2003 Developer Resources\Microsoft Office Word 2003 XML SDK my toolbar is back. I must learn to restrain my fiddling fingers Thanks again.
