Currently MSN Messenger chat-logs have a .0 file-type (maybe chat changes, i don't know). I read about some page, where it's possible to make spotlight index also new filetypes, but these msn logs contain some binary data also. Can't it be XML or something pure-text-thing so Spotlight could also search these logs? This is currently the only reason why I have to use iChat through Jabber instead of MSN messenger. iChat logs are completely searchable.
