WordprocessingML for document protection
a5sk4s 30.11.2005 21:36:08
I'm trying to apply document protection as described by Brian Jones at
http://blogs.msdn.com/brian_jones/archive/2005/09/09/463142.aspx (thanks for
the series - very helpful). Unfortunately, after following the steps, the
generated document is not protected. Only after going through the cycle of
unprotect and protect is the protection enforced. This is the case despite
the fact that all UI elements (e.g., task pane) indicate that protection is
turned on. The only noteworthy difference is that I am using an XSLT data
view to generate the WordprocessingML from a custom XML.

What am I missing? Am I streching Word's capabilties too much? Thanks for
any suggestions.

Andreas
