The focus of this newsgroup is Macros in Microsoft Access, the database programme. It seems like you are talking Excel or some other spreadsheet. I think this functionality is possible with Excel, but not sure how - maybe reposting your question to an Excel-related newsgroup would be the way to go. If this information was in two Access tables, it would done via a simple Query.
