In your boots, and if you don't get other advice in here, I'd go ask the gurus in microsoft.public.powerpoint what you have to do here. Be sure to specify what "XML" you mean (i.e., do you have a DTD or Schema in mind, you want something generic [like put all binary content into a CDATA tag ;-), what the purpose of these XML files is, etc.).
