Only 1 user able to access mdb with Access 2003
darren.bishop[ at ]carillionplc.com 14.09.2006 12:17:14
We are unable to get multiple users to be able to use a mdb (no
passwords) using Access 2003. If a user with Access 2003 is in the
database, a user using Access 2000 can access the database but users
with Access 2003 cannot.

Is this a problem with Access 2003 or is there a setting within Access
2003 which will allow muitiple Access 2003 users to use the mdb?

This problem only occurs on servers with DFS. Tests have been
undertaken to confirm that Access 2003 works in multi-user mode on a
application server (without DFS) and also when deployed on shared
folder on a desktop/laptop.
