How do I miss out header only on p1 of a doc with diff sections
Jan 29.09.2006 14:36:02
I have a word document with pages which are portrait and landscape. This
seems to cause the document to go into different sections. When I try to
omit the footer from the front page it is also omitted from the first page in
other sections. Some of the sections seem to say "first page footer" even
though they are not on the first page of the document but rather the first
page of the section.
Can anyone help - I want to omit the footer from the first page only.
Many thanks
Jan

"Different first page" is a section setting. Clear it for the sections where
you don't want it enabled.
