I have a premium MSN account. The only reason I paid for it was to get full functionality with Outlook, but I don't seem to be able to do that.
I don't want an MSN folder. I want all of my email to go to use my personal accounts inbox, sent box, etc, just like my work account.
How can I set it up to do that? If it can't, what kind of email service to I need to get so that it can work with Outlook just like my account at work or an Atlantic Broadband account? Thanks.

Is this the only account you have configured? Then you can create a new mail profile (Control Panel-> Mail) and directly choose the MSN Outlook Connector as your account type instead of upgrading the Hotmail account. This will set your MSN account as the default message store.
If you have additional accounts you can't mix them. This is because it is a HTTP account which has a dedicated sync with your online mailbox and therefor needs its own store. When you have multiple POP3 accounts you can let them all deliver to one and the same folder.
