Identifying whether there are user properties defined
Dewey 21.09.2006 00:56:02
Hi
How do you detect if a certain user property has already been defined in
the Outlook task list? Is there a way to have one defined and use it to hold
information, but keep it non-visible at the same time?

Thanks in advance

Programmatically? I don't know of a method. In what scenario do you need to do that?

At the item level, but not at the folder level.

Hi Sue
Well, I'm trying to install my add-in on multiple machines, and I'm
checking to see if there is a user property there already from my own program
the next time it runs.

It shouldn't hurt to try to add it anyway.
