Access 2003 and SQL Server 2005 using ADO and ODBC
"JDC_AZ" <johnclark[ at ]ev1.net> 18.09.2006 17:11:55
I have read about many issues with ADP and SQL Server 2005, has anyone
experienced any issues with developing the front end of an application
in Access 2003 and connecting to the SQL Server (2005) for tables and
queries using ADO and ODBC?

I am assuming you mean Access 2007?

Why can't Access 2003 connect to a SQL backend regardless of
versioning? I know that you lose some development functionality in
Access with SQL 2005, but if you do the backend development in SQL and
develop unbound forms in Access are there any known issues with this
approach?
