Sending a document with drop down box as an email
"Jailbird" <jailbird[ at ]gmx.ch> 28.09.2006 13:48:49
Hi

I just wanted to know if it's possible to send a document as an email
with the drop down box (form field) showing.

Please see related topic:
http://groups.google.ch/group/microsoft.public.word.docmanagement/browse_thread/thread/b937ae727f50d628/d3d82fb451d5a888

At the end, the conclusion was to send it as an attachment. Is it
somehow possible to send as mail itself without losing the form field?

Thanks in advance
Marco

can you be 100% sure what kind of email client your receiver has, what
kind of OS?

If the answer is no, it's not useful to persue this approach in the
first place (because then it's anybody's guess what he will see when you
send him some "formatted" stuff.

That's what your ASCII Ribbon tells us...never format any mails! I
fully agree to you, but I guess most email clients understand HTML. But
I also know that MSHTML is extended HTML, so things are bad anyway.

Thanks for your comment

So, how do you express a dropdown box in HTML?

Greetings
