Heading 2 Problem
kaliszewskim[ at ]gmail.com 30.08.2006 19:45:21
Recently, we have been having trouble with the 'Heading 2' style. We
have a macro that runs and createds a document. There are certain lines
that are set as 'Heading 2'. When we open the document after the macro
has run, I can see the line that was set as heading 2, but there is no
number in front of it. It should be '1 - First Item', instead it shows
as just 'First Item'. Looking at the Style, it is set to Heading 2, as
it should be. If I re-select 'Heading 2' from the dropdown list, the
number now appears. This is not a viable solution as everything should
be correctly formatted from the macro. This only started happening
within the last month or two. Before that it was fine. Any ideas?

What happens if you select the entire document and press Ctrl+Q? If that
corrects the problem, then add EditSelectAll, ResetPara to your macro.

Well, It did fix the numbering problem, but did throw off some tabs
further in the document. However, it definately pointed me in the right
direction and I was able to do a find loop through all of the 'Heading
2' Styles and reset each of their paragraphs. Thanks!
