ActiveX Licensing
John Cello 25.09.2006 15:54:01
In developing an application for a client, I ran into something unexpected
concerning the MS Date & Time Picker control 6.0 (SP6). Having one iteration
of the database loaded on two of the client's machines, I had experienced no
problems. After loading the newest version, when launching a form I get the
error message that I don't have the required license for this control.

Now, it worked in the previous iteration. The form this control is used on
was unchanged from the earlier version. The earlier version still works error
free. The current version, after acknoledging all the pop up messages about
the licensing issue, does have the control enabled and functional.

Has anyone else encountered this, and is there a configuration change I can
make in the OS or Access to correct it?

Thanks.
