Access link ODBC to SQL table, path to ODBC -recent install?
LWinFlorida 28.09.2006 00:35:01
have new laptop - install window xp pro with 2003 windows office pro , have
odbc data sources created , access database copied from old laptop. existing
links to sql tables via odbc drivers work fine, i can use and refresh without
problems but when i try to add a new link i follow the steps in table /New/
link/odbc sources and then nothing happens - a window should popup and allow
me to choose the data source but it is no where. when i look at the Access
system info it shows the ODBC path is unknown - have tried complete
re-install but still no luck. Does any one have any idea what i need to do?
Never had this problem before - previous system was office 2002 but that
should not be a problem.
