Cannot make an MDE File
neenmarie 16.08.2006 16:11:19
When trying to create an MDE file, I ge the following error message:
"Microsoft Access was unable to create an MDE database" There is no further
info given. An ideas why this would happen?

Hi neenmarie,
there are 2 possible cause for this problem.
1) You have an error in your code, so the application can't compile and the
mde cannot be built. Try to compile your db from Visual Basic Window before
creating the MDE, correct all you error and retry.

2) your MDB format is A2000 and your Access version is XP or 2003, convert
A2k MDB to A2002/2003 and try again
